EXCITING TO KNOW

Post date: Nov 14, 2012 5:42:32 AM

In his time, Apostle Paul was so excited by what he was and what he was doing after his conversion and subsequent baptism of the Holy Spirit, though men and the media were trying to bring him down and take away his excitement, he shouted with greater conviction and assurance that: “From now on let no person trouble me [by making it necessary for me to vindicate my apostolic authority and the divine truth of my Gospel], for I bear on my body the [brand] marks of the Lord Jesus [the wounds, scars, and other outward evidence of persecutions, these testify to His ownership of me]” Galatians 6:17

In the name of Jesus Christ our only Lord and savior, you are not, and will never be the evil that people say of you, but you will definitely be what God said of you the day He made you. You are not what they will or what they are doing against you, but you are what God did and will confirm in your life. You will not manifest the thoughts, craftiness and wishes of any person in any form of authority, but you will manifest what God had destined for you to be before you were ever conceived in the womb. You have been appointed and will be enabled by God to manifest and to fulfill the destiny of heaven for you in Christ Jesus. It is not the news from the print and the press media or any other agency that impresses and excites me. It is the new of what God said of you, that is what generates the unending exciting in me despite what you may be going through now.

Every child of God has a heavenly will to inherit, a heavenly mandate to fulfill, and a heavenly vision to follow. That is why God refused to leave you alone in the world. To ensure that His purpose for you are completely manifested, He gave you these three guides (1) Holy Spirit, “And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever. The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you constantly and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans [comfortless, desolate, bereaved, forlorn, helpless]; I will come [back] to you” John 14:16-18. The Holy Spirit reminds you daily of those heavenly mandates, visions, and inheritance, urging you through inspiration and motivation to stretch out your hearts and hands to get them.

(2) He gave you His word to help you navigate the dark and difficult terrains of this world. David said this concerning the word of God in his hard times; “How sweet are Your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth. Through Your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. I have sworn [an oath] and have confirmed it, that I will keep Your righteous ordinances [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying them” Psalm 119:103-106.

(3) He gave His angels to guide you along until you reach the peak of His calling in your life. “There shall no evil befall you, nor any plague or calamity come near your tent. For He will give His angels [especial] charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways [of obedience and service]. They shall bear you up on their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone. You shall tread upon the lion and adder; the young lion and the serpent shall you trample underfoot.” Psalm 91:10-13

The media is powerful but the word of God for you is more powerful. The words of men are powerful but the word of God concerning you is more powerful. Refuse to give up your excitement in the word of God, refuse to give up your motivation in pursuing what God said of you, and embrace this excitement in the scriptures, and declare as Paul did in Galatians 6:17.
