“BETTER PLANS THAN THE WORRIES”

Many believers of Jesus Christ had been engrossed in endless worries and pains for too long not knowing what to do next; not knowing where, how and when their deliverance will come; not knowing how human help will ever change their situation; not knowing if they will ever have a better experience than what they have right now; not knowing if God is willing to deliver them personally or send someone from far or near; not knowing if the worries is because of not being right with God or if they are hindered by any hidden sins or personal mistakes or curse, and not knowing if their experience is as a result of their ancestral mistakes. Irrespective of your worries, your thoughts, your pains and whatever you are worried about, God has better things and better plans for you. He is not watching over you for destruction even when Satan wants you to think and believe that way and your enemies are ready to celebrate your destruction.

Worries of any magnitude have negative impacts on humanity and faith irrespective of gender, profession, wealth and fame. Worries create confusion, heightens fear, promotes doubt, brings encouragement; enables disobedience, opens doors for sin, compromises and destroys faith and health, but in that same worries, God has better plans and better desires for you. Many Christians are worried so much that their thoughts, health, relations, and actions are negatively affected thereby hindering their quick deliverance and freedom. To most of us, Satan hides behind whatever worries we have to afflict us and manipulate our senses and feelings; through his daily activities against us, Satan effectively makes us worry more the cause of the worries in the first place thereby holding our thought and mind and hearts captive and depending on his plans and activities. But God is not holding our thoughts and actions captive but desires to liberate us and open the door of grace so we can be free from our worries.

One secret of overcoming worries is dwelling in His presence. When you dwell in His presence, things will change, His will and plans will be fulfilled, your desires will be purified and your worries will definitely diminish. Despite your worries, pains, and fears, God has better plans that He will fulfill for you. He is able to do what He said because He knows the reason and the source of the worries in your life. These are His words and plans: “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will remain secure and rest in the shadow of the Almighty whose power no enemy can withstand. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust with great confidence, and on whom I rely. For He will save you from the trap of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence, He will cover you and completely protect you with His pinions, and under His wings, you will find refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and a wall. You will not be afraid of the terror of night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noon. A thousand may fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand, but danger will not come near you. You will only be a spectator as you look on with your eyes and witness the divine repayment of the wicked as you watch safely from the shelter of the Most High. Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil will befall you, nor will any plague come near your tent. For He will command His angels in regard to you, to protect and defend and guard you in all your ways of obedience and service, they will lift you up in their hands, so that you do not strike your foot against a stone. You will tread upon the lion and cobra; the young lion and the serpent you will trample underfoot. Because he set his love on Me, therefore I will save him; I will set him securely on high, because he knows My name, he confidently trusts and relies on Me, knowing I will never abandon him, no, never. He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. With a long life, I will satisfy him and I will let him see My salvation.” Psalm 91:1-16.
