DEAR LORD, DO YOU SEE ME?

Many believers are asking God this question today because of what they are experiencing daily compared to what they pray or, what they expected each new day and what they read and believed in the Holy Scriptures. Many are confused on what to do next and many are questioning their believes, their faith, their dedication, and their commitments; many are about to begin doubting themselves and their actions in following the scripture; many are about to surrender to gossips and to falsehood; many are about to begin emulating ungodly friends in their unscriptural and immoral activities, to begin emulating the world’s system of doing things and resolving long outstanding problems; many have already started accepting thoughts they rejected long before now, ideas they had judge and were convinced to be unacceptable as Children of the living God.

Many believers are asking if God still sees their daily commitments to remain faithfulness to Him alone, their desire to seek and to maintain peace in every situation, their efforts in committing everything to God in prayer, determination to participate in bible studies and all church activities, their resolve to live pure and holy according to God's words, their efforts to abstain from all forms of immoralities, fornication, adultery, stealing, and cheating; they are wondering if God still sees all their daily struggles to meet their financial needs and commitments to their children and family: if God still sees how they are being abused for doing nothing wrong, cheated for being simple and sincere, mistreated and humiliated for being humble, frustrated for being committed to showing godly excellence and purity in all things, misused for being submissive, tested and tempted for being Christ follower.

Many are asking this question because they have waited too long for a spouse and they are aging each day; because they have believed God for a child and their marriage is in trouble; because they have no job despite having the qualifications, the talents and the ability that should give them a very decent well paid job; they are asking because they have trusted God for a change for too long and their patience is fast running low. Many are asking this because they have prayed on the same issue for too long without the expected change. But despite the length of time, the delays and the disappointments, the answer is Yes, the Almighty God sees you even when you feel you are hidden from His sight; when you think He is not observing you; when you think you are suffering too hard despite believing, trusting and following Him all these years. There is nothing that is hidden from the eyes of God under the heavens; no one can escape His eyes, His knowledge, and His ability to do what He wants to do.

He sees you every day; He sees when you struggle with depression, oppression and rejection; He sees when you struggle to overcome the wickedness and temptations of men; He sees when you commit yourself to pray over an issue rather than fight over the issue; He sees when you refuse to follow the examples of the ungodly; He see when you remain faithful to Him in the face of abuse and intimidation: He sees when you struggle to provide for your family; He sees when you make efforts to pay off your debts; He see when you are naked, hungry and homeless; He see when you are sad and when you are happy; He sees when you are mistreated and misused, and He sees when you faithfully call on Him in everything. And because He sees your heart and your desires, He will not forsake you there indefinitely.

The same God you serve today saw Noah in the midst of a perverse world and rescued Him; saw Lot and his family in the city of Sodom and Gomorrah together with people of perverse thoughts and actions and rescued them; saw Daniel in the prison and in the den of lions and rescued him; saw Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the fiery burning furnace and rescued them; He saw Hannah in the place of prayer and answer her; saw the faithfulness of Zechariah and rewarded him even in his old age. He surely sees your efforts and will answer you with His blessings. “The eyes of the Lord run to and fro the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.” 2 Chronicles 16:9.
