“God remembers His covenant forever, the promise He made, for a thousand generations, the covenant He made with Abraham, the oath He swore to Isaac. He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as an everlasting covenant: to you, I will give the land of Canaan as the portion you will inherit.” 1 Chronicles 16:15-18. Did you know there is nothing on earth that God cannot give to you? Did you know there is nothing He cannot make to happen because of you? Did you know there is no evil or curses on you that God cannot remove, reverse or destroy? Almighty God is calling you up for something new this year; He is taking you high for something better; He is preserving you for something glorious, and He is encouraging you to come and to call on Him for something bigger than you and bigger than what you can ever imagine; I promise you He will not fail in His plans, and He will not reject or refuse when you go to Him and call on Him. He is a promise keeper, a covenant keeper, and He is the Almighty God. Nothing will be able to stop Him when you are ready to stand before Him with an open and willing heart to ask, to receive from Him, to obey Him, and to follow Him. “Come now, and let us reason together, says the Lord, though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.” Isaiah 1:18-20. Your willingness is important and God is willing also.

If while you were in sin, He showed you His love by forgiving all of your sins, how much more now will He show you His amazing faithfulness after you have been washed and regenerated and made clean by the power of His word, by the power of His Holy Spirit and filled with the glory and goodness of His amazing grace? God has you up for something the world cannot imagine, will not be able to resist or destroy. Do not in any way compare yourself with others irrespective of your situation and your location and the weapons they might use against you this year in any of the things you will encounter. God said this year, He will defend you, He will support you, and He will uphold you and He will sustain you in His mighty hands.

Besides answering your prayers and granting your request, God had promised to give you much more in all areas; He had promised you a new heart deprived of wicked thoughts and weakening imaginations; He had promised to give you rest from troubles and afflictions that had been your tormented you; He had promised to give you a new victory song in every battle you will have making your testimony to resonate and very clear; He had promised you another comforter, your years of loneliness and rejection is over; He had promised to give you a new name, taking the stigmas of your previous sufferings away the names they had given you because of your delays and pains will no more be heard for your good; He had promised you the nations for your asking; He had promised to give you hidden riches stacked away from the eyes and knowledge of men, a new opportunity is coming for you; He had promised to give you rain in its season, no more famine and no more labor without adequate compensation; He had promised to promote you before men, to promote your course and to promote your ideas; He had promised you a new crown of life, and He had promised to remain your God. There will be blessings, promises, and numerous opportunities for you to take, to keep, and to run with this year. You will be offended by men and their actions but don’t let that be a distraction, what God had ordained for you that He will surely do if you will keep your focus on Him and not on what people will say to you or do against you. “But I said to you, I will give it to you as an inheritance, a land flowing with milk and honey. I am the Lord your God, who has set you apart from the nations. I will grant peace in the land, and you will lie down and no one will make you afraid. I will remove wild beasts from the land, and the sword will not pass through your country. Leviticus 20:24; 26:6. For prayers Click here
