We have compelling needs at home, compelling needs at work, compelling needs at school, compelling needs to maintain good and happy marriage relationships, compelling needs to get married after a certain age, compelling need to have children and raise them up properly after getting marriage, compelling to needs to get out of financial debts and troubles, compelling need to start a business or something that will guarantee continuous income, compelling needs to get out of loneliness, compelling needs to get well and remain healthy, compelling needs to get beyond stagnations and frustrations, compelling needs t settle a recurring dispute, compelling needs to get along with an abusive, irresponsible, carefree but necessary partner, compelling needs to get along with others, compelling need to get past a disappointment, compelling need to overcome the bad effects of injustice and idleness and shame, and compelling needs to be and to remain faithful to the Almighty God and deeply committed to following and obeying His words.

In our desires and struggles to meet these needs, we are often pressured by things we foreknow and things we do not foreknow, things we expect and things we do not expect, we are often presented with options that are right and options that are wrong, counsels we need and counsels we do not need; through these needs, we meet with people we want and people we do not want and we are often confronted with tough choices to make, and in all of the choices present before us, there will always be good or bad consequences, but in all things irrespective of the situation and the circumstance, irrespective of the toughness and the pains, irrespective of the sorrows and the difficulties, the counsel of God on that issue will stand and it will prevail, it will guarantee your ultimate peace, subsequent freedom and finally, it will bring your elevation in life.

The wrong approach, desire, and pursuit to meet compelling needs have brought many people down from the high positions God had placed them, had prevented many from reaching their full potentials in their professions and prevented many from reaching the fullness of God’s plans for their lives and had destroyed many people's chances in life, consume many good dreams and enders many ineffective. But God does not want those compelling needs to destroy you. Esau's great destiny was taken away because of a compelling need for food. Satan tempted Christ Jesus because He was hungry for food. You will not fall, follow God’s words and direction.

“Therefore the Lord waits expectantly and longs to be gracious to you, and therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all those who long for Him since He will never fail them. O people in Zion, inhabitant in Jerusalem, you will weep no longer. He will most certainly be gracious to you at the sound of your cry for help when He hears it, He will answer you. Though the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of oppression, yet your Teacher will no longer hide Himself, but your eyes will constantly see your Teacher. Your ears will hear a word behind you, this is the way, walk in it whenever you turn to the right or to the left. And you will defile your carved images overlaid with silver, and your cast images plated with gold. You will scatter them like a bloodstained cloth and will say to them, be gone. Then He will give you rain for the seed with which you sow the ground, and bread from the produce of the ground, and it will be rich and plentiful. In that day your livestock will graze in large and roomy pastures. Also, the oxen and the young donkeys that work the ground will eat salted fodder, which has been winnowed with shovel and pitchfork. On every lofty mountain and on every high hill there will be streams of water on the day of the great slaughter when the towers fall and all His enemies are destroyed. The light of the full moon will be like the light of the sun, and the light of the sun will be seven times brighter like the light of seven days in one, in the day the Lord binds up the fracture of His people and heals the wound He has inflicted.” Isaiah 30:18-26.
