BEYOND THOSE WALLS

“Though He slays me, yet I will trust Him.” Job 13:15

When you aspire to give God praises despite the circumstances, God will in return, make a way for you despite the hindrances and discomforts of such circumstances.

There are spiritual, physical, religious and denominational walls in the lives of most of us today and God does not want us to remain under their influences the rest of our lives.  The liberating power of God in Christ Jesus is for everyone who is determined to surrender to Him, listen to Him and follow Him.

Since nothing did limit our Lord Jesus Christ, not even the power of death and the grave, nothing will also limit us if we follow His steps.  Don’t surrender to those walls, surrender to God.  You have experienced the barriers long enough, it is time to get pass them all despite our previous failures in such attempts.

The good news today is, even within those walls, we can still see, feel and experience the amazing presence and power of our God that will give us the hope and joy for better days ahead.  He is willing to lead us out if our aspiration for freedom is undying as we keep praising Him.

The reason why most of us cannot aspire outside those walls is because we give undue attention to the limitations, pains and negative powers of the walls rather than rejoicing in our Lord Jesus Christ despite the walls. “In everything give thanks (not for everything); for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18

“Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God” Ezekiel 1:1.

That was Ezekiel’s encounter within the walls of his captivity, he saw heaven open. This revelation gave him hope and assurance of what lies ahead for him. It tells of his state of mind and thoughts while in captivity and what God can do despite our physical condition.

Despite the walls of captivity and being kept in camps, Daniel aspired to give God the praise and God elevated him in a strange land far beyond his dreams and people envied him.  Paul and Silas aspired to praise God even in prison and under chain and God honored their praises by breaking off the chains and opening the prison doors.

Job, despite mounting pressures from his wife and three close colleagues to ditch his God, he aspired to still praise God and God restored him beyond the expectations of his friends.

Beyond the walls of shame aspire to praise God and He will banish that shame. Remember the woman that was bent double for thirteen years but never failed going to church in Luke 13:11.  Beyond the walls of barrenness aspire to praise the Lord and He will break the yoke of bitterness.  Beyond the walls of stagnation aspire to praise the Lord and He will move you forward.  Remember Peter, Paul and Silas in prison.  Beyond the walls of loneliness, humiliating jobs, separation from family and good friends, aspire to praise the Lord and He will comfort and reunite you beyond your imagination. Remember Mary Magdalene.   Beyond the walls of no job, low pay, wickedness of men and uncomfortable environment, aspire to praise God and He will prove Himself. Remember Isaac in Genesis 26.  Beyond the walls of comfort, aspire to praise God and he will establish your foundation.  Beyond the walls of offence, anger, injustice, fear, wickedness, delays, weakness, intimidation, denials and frustration praise God.

The walls of Jericho could not stop the people of Israel when they praise God for seven days, the wall fell, and they entered the land God had promised their fathers. God wants you beyond those walls and He will make it happen.

Aspire to praise God in an extraordinary way and He will give you an extraordinary freedom from the walls that keep you back in life.                             Do something new and worthy of praise for your God today.
