JABEZ PROVED SKEPTICS WRONG AND ENDED WELL

Post date: Nov 10, 2014 5:00:13 AM

God will help you to prove all of your skeptics wrong in this very life. Hardship will never be your everlasting companion. Jabez parents gave birth to him with a negative thought and gave him a very bad thereafter to reflect their thoughts with a very bad expectation of his future, but Jabez grew up to develop a positive dream for himself; to have a more practical and realistic vision of himself and his future, and through strong personal determination, he saw his life changed and made better than all dreams and visions from the people around him. If your parents had no dream for you, create one; if they have nothing better for you, create one; if the never had a vision, that should not stop you from setting the pace; and they said you will never get married, keep a profitable job and a happy home, your God will prove them wrong.

His parents saw sorrow and regrets, but Jabez saw joy and courage, and lived it. His parents saw great difficulties before them and before him, difficulties that they believed can never be solved, but Jabez saw difficulties that can be defeated and lived through determination and godliness, and he defeated the difficulty gloriously and permanently in his life. Your parents may have seen your failure, but you can prove them wrong through Christ Jesus, Jabez did. The scripture said:

“Jabez was honorable above his brothers; but his mother named him Jabez (sorrow), saying, because I bore him in pain. Jabez cried to the God of Israel, saying, Oh, that You would bless me and enlarge my border, and that Your hand might be with me, and You would keep me from evil so it might not hurt me. And God granted his request.” 1 Chronicles 4:9-10

At birth, his mother remembered all her sorrows in her own life, but God remembered all of His promises for Jabez; she remembered her poverty, but God remembered Jabez’s prosperity; she remembered the miseries of her other children, and together with her husband, they concluded that Jabez will be no different, they were wrong. In the very best of their imaginations, thoughts, and assumptions, Jabez will definitely end up poor, cursed and disabled forever; but God said Jabez will make a great difference and he did. Through grace from above you will make a great and remarkable in this very life. Jabez completely lived and see his life changed beyond all the imaginations of his parents and those who never wished him well in life.

You may have been born a no-body in your family; your parents, spouse, friends may have lost all hope in your redemption, in your recovery, in your making life better for yourself, and they may have lost all believe that you will never make a difference; I want you to draw inspiration in the life of Jabez, that contrary to all expectation, you will live to prove their expectations, their imaginations, and their thoughts wrong. I pray that you will live beyond imaginations, you will live beyond the fears to fail; you will live beyond the expectations waiting to pull you off, you will not fail. Despite the effects of a bad name, you will prove the wrong.

His parents had no hope and trust that he will ever experience change, but he had hope, trusted God and experienced a renewal and live the rest of his life in surplus through God’s grace and power. He was born poor and destined by the imaginations of his parents and family members to remain poor forever, but despite their expectations and far beyond their imaginations, he totally exceeded all expectation to end well and far better. God took him far beyond his expectations and far beyond the words of his prayers.

This was his prayers: ‘Oh, that You would bless me and enlarge my border, and that Your hand might be with me, and You would keep me from evil so it might not hurt me’. God did heard his prayers and did bless him; God did enlarge his borders; God did put His hands on him; God did keep him from evil and God did protect him from being hurt by words or by imaginations of his parents and people around him. Jabez ended well and so will you. For prayers, Click here
