WHERE IS YOUR SPOUSE?

Post date: May 29, 2013 4:19:22 AM

Do not be embarrassed, do not cry, do not be afraid, do not be angry with yourself or with anyone else, God has better plans to be fulfilled through you and through your union, and the devil will never stop your God on His path in your life. “For I am the Lord, I do not change; that is why you, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed. And all nations shall call you happy and blessed, for you shall be a land of delight, says the Lord of hosts.” Malachi 3:6; 12

For those who are single, do not feel ashamed when asked where your spouse is because you do not have one right now, your trust in God for one will never be in vain, your wait and hope on Him will be rewarded, and your faithfulness will always speak for you before Him. His plans and purposes for your life will never go unfulfilled, and your prayers will never remain unanswered forever. He alone makes ways for people even in difficult situations; your redeemer is still the Lord of lords and the King of kings and will remain so forever. He said; “I, even I, am the Lord, and besides Me there is no Savior. Behold, I am doing a new thing. Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:11, 19

For those who are married; “where is Sarah your wife?” Genesis 10:9. That was a great and very direct question to Abraham. I will ask also, Sarah, where is Abraham your husband? What showed up in the visitor’s inquiry was the request for accountability. That is what God requires of you despite the prevailing situation. Abraham answered, she is right here in the tent with me, and Sarah showed up, I am right here in the tent with him. In another time, “Jesus said to her, Go, call your husband and come back here” John 4:16

In your best prayer time, desires, efforts and searches, you may have reached your max without having any success, but your God will make it happen for you soon. Christ Jesus wants you married, and He wants your marriage to remain vibrant in Him, in hope, in aspiration, in dreams in desires, and to be productive. He desires your continuous joy, happiness, accountability and faithfulness to Him and to one another.

Remember, it was the brief absence of Adam from Eve, probably to attend to some urgent matters that opened the door for the devil to take advantage of her and bring the anger of God upon humanity. Irrespective of your present loneliness, troubles, thinking, weaknesses, feelings, and evil reports concerning you and your relationship now and in the future, God has not rejected you and will never forget you. You may feel there is no way again for you, but He can make a way just for you, you may feel you have been waiting in vain, no one is seeing and noticing your cries, needs and wants, but despite the feelings, God is still interested in you and is still willing to fulfill His plans and promises to you. He had seen your waiting, faithfulness, commitment, your desires, your prayers and He will fulfill His plans in due season.

The covenant blessing from God was to be fulfilled between Abraham and Sarah. None was more superior, none was irrelevant, and none would have been able to complete the requirement in the covenant without the other. Where is your spouse in your thoughts and plans? Where is your spouse in your dreams, desires and actions? God made the two of you in the beginning and the covenant bears the two names. Isaac was not a product of one person; he was a product of the union of Abraham and Sarah and your union will be fruitful in Him.

Despite what is going on with you or with the two of you, the covenant is for the two of you, God can fix all issues if only you will surrender to Him and be submissive to each other and seek each other’s true interest. The more you stand on your own right and thoughts the more you will keep delaying the covenant. If Sarah was not at the tent at that material time, the covenant would have been further delayed; God had no such intent for you. For Prayers Click here
