OH LORD, I MUST GET IT RIGHT

Post date: Jun 26, 2013 4:34:36 AM

It is time to put a stop to those little silly and humiliating mistakes that keep setting you back from achieving your dreams, your visions and your desires; those little mistakes at the point of breakthrough and recognition; those mishaps that are not intentional and deliberate, those little foxes that spoils or stops you from reaching your life expectations and endeavors. On the day of your salvation, God took away your past giving you the grace to get it right next time, and this is the right time to rise up with determination to take that had been given to you.

There is nothing absolutely wrong in you revisiting the God given dreams that had failed in the past with the right frame of mind to get it right this time around. Failure is never your surname neither is it your first or middle name, nor will it ever be your nick name. Those sweet dreams from God were not fake neither were they products of wrong emulations or self-indulgence in that which was illegal. One thing that enables a rapid change in the life of any individual is that individual’s level of determination to get it right despite the past difficulties, failures and seeming impossibilities that they may have faced in pursuing those determinations before.

Note that you may have been born with several disabilities and weaknesses in life, your family may have been deficient in many ways, your business not properly funded and staffed, and your childhood experience not so good to talk about with others, but despite all you have seen, felt and known, you were never born to fail, to remain a failure, and failure was not assigned to accompany you indefinitely through this life.

In everything you will ever do and come to do in life, you can never grow beyond your level of determination weather you are a Christian or not. Your level of determination predicts your level of success and accomplishment in life; it affects your dreams and will straighten your drive and courage to stand strong till the results start coming in. After your good visions and sweet dreams, it is now you developing the right determination to be what those dreams and visions said of you that should take the center stage of any action you may take in life. It is your determination to walk in obedience to the words and commands of God that will enable you to get it right the second time despite the fears and the words of men.

When you are sincerely and truly determined to make your marriage work and to get it right despite the past difficulties, God will step in to help you succeed. When you are willing to make your children excel despite the weaknesses and failures you see in them daily, God will step in to help you succeed. When you are determine and willing to stabilize your finances by allowing God’s word to govern your spending and the way you handle money, God will step in to help you get it right. When you are willing to build a lasting relationship with God and with men despite the very obvious differences, God will step in to help you get it right and find a partner that will accomplish that with you. When you are determined and willing to build a profitable career that God will honor God, He will step in to help you get it right. When you are willing to walk in obedience to God’s word, He will step in to help you get it right and take away your shame. When you are determined and willing to sustain your progress in a godly way, God will step in and help you get it right. It was God who stepped in to help Peter get it right after a night of dashed expectations and disappointing failure.

“He said to Simon Peter, Put out into the deep, and lower your nets for a haul. And Simon Peter answered, Master, we toiled all night exhaustingly and caught nothing. But on the ground of Your word, I will lower the nets again. And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish; and as their nets were at the point of breaking. They signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and take hold with them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink. Luke 5:4-7. You can get it right this time.
