LORD, I AM OUT OF IDEAS.

Every innovation, renovation, invention, real success and meaningful progress begins with the availability of an accurate idea and possessing the ability to implement such ideas. It is a fact that everyone knows what they want in life, but it is sad also to know that not everyone has the ability and the right knowledge of how to get what they want. Many have tried all methods they know, followed all advice given, waited patiently for too long, and many more are increasingly falling backward instead of going forward in life, the line of those looking for and waiting for the same thing are getting longer every day, frustration and anger are on the rise, and discouragement is setting in. All known ideas had been exhausted and confusion is now their daily companion.

Many have waited too long for their married partners to come forth, too long to see children in their marriage, too long to experience real peace in their personal lives, marriage, job, in their homes and in their nations. Many have waited too long to see their health fully restored, their marriage fully restored, their children health and behavior restored, their jobs restored, hopes and dreams becoming real and lively again, their confiscated properties fully restored, their dream home come real and promises they have held to for many years now fulfilled. Many have waited too long and their patience is completely exhausted and they are out of ideas on what next to do. 

Once ideas are exhausted, confusion takes over but as a believer, God will not leave you in your confusion too long. One thing with spiritual and physical confusion is that they make one look stupid even in small and simple matters, uncoordinated in almost all activities, unsettled in mind, thoughts and words, it reflects poorly on one’s health and makes one prone to unnecessary and uncommon mistakes. Being out of ideas hinders progress in all things, stops your match towards victory, stops the joy of waiting on your dreams, your visions, and your desires in life.

Transforming ideas are not easy to come by despite the increase in knowledge and the assistance of technological, engineering, medical and scientific breakthroughs in this smart age, and when the matter is hampered spiritually, cogent ideas becomes more difficult, and being out of gas common. But the Almighty and ever living God, whom we serve, had shown Himself able before in several ways, had proved Himself strong and absolutely willing not to keep you in that confusion longer. He will intervene and he will deliver you

It is very rare to hear those in authority confess their confusion, they do not want to tell others they have ran out of their very best ideas, but God is never without new ideas, new methods and new ways in carrying out and fulfilling His plans and purpose in your life. When Hannah was confused and out of any physical idea on what to do to get a child and peace of mind, she put aside all comfort and festivities and engaged herself in prayer, and God answered, giving her seven children even when she only asked for one. When Jabez was no more comfortable with his situation, confused and out of any physical idea on what next to do for a desired change, he went to the living God like Hannah in prayer, and God granted his request. God will anger you.

When three Nations (the Moabites, the Ammonites with some of the Meunites) came up against Judah, their king who was Jehoshaphat acknowledged he was confused on what to do. Though Jehoshaphat was confused on what to do, he was not confused on how to pray. Though the people were disappointed by his confusion, they were not disappointed by the ability of their God. Jehoshaphat took his confusion to God in prayer. God answered him. “Ask and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it shall be opened to you”. Matthew 7:7.
