RESTORED TWICE AS MUCH AS BEFORE

It is completely wrong to compare the Almighty God with anyone else on earth, in heaven and in any other location despite the situations. God is far more than the very best of any human reasoning and intelligence, anything else you can imagine. He is absolute in all things and is always moved to action by His words with all patience, compassion, love and sacrifice that will transform all men from whatever situation and location to a new, glorious and far better situation and place in life. God will never in any way leave you in the same place He found you yesterday. He will not leave in the same situation He met you, He will not take you lower and He will not allow the devil to own your dreams thereafter irrespective of the destructive powers working against you and manipulating your life.

Unlike what many people will do to you when things go wrong with you, God will never discard you because the devil is holding you hostage in your dreams, in your visions, and is vigorously holding the manifestation of your life long desires back from being real. God will never discard you when the devil is refusing to let you go beyond the standards of your parents, that of your family members and ancestors; God will never discard you when the devil refuses to let you go beyond the standards of men’s imaginations, when you are being tempted beyond your strength and beyond the help from friends, and God will not discard you when you lost your way in life.

God will not discard you because you have sinned, rather He makes provisions for forgiveness; He will not discard you because you have committed several mistakes in life, you have wasted His priced resources and have turned your back your back on Him. In every situation, God is always beckoning on you to come to Him, to take the right and best path to life and also take the right step towards His will and His plans for your life.

When Job was tempted, He never gave up his trust in the God he did follow and served before the troubles began, he never gave up waiting on him, even when prompted to curse God, He never said any word that showed he was angry with his God. Though Job was not angry with God, he was angry with his friends who turn around to accuse him of lying about his sincerity before God and his efforts to claim righteousness. God did not take this action lightly with Job.

That anger made Job to withhold praying for his friends and it contributed to his being held back until God spoke to him otherwise, asking him to pray for those friends. Not until Job accepted to pray and actually prayed, God did not restore him. The scripture said God restored the fortunes of Job thereafter twice as much as before. Do not withhold anything from your God and from people around you. Obeying God in every situation opens every door for you irrespective of the number of years you have experienced adversity. What are you holding back from God and from people because of your situation? What have you refused to render freely to others because your situation is not improving? God wants to restore you twice as much as He did with Job.

“After the Lord had spoken the previous words to Job, the Lord said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against you and against your two friends, for you have not spoken of Me the thing that is right, as My servant Job has. Now therefore take seven bullocks and seven rams and go to My servant Job and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and My servant Job shall pray for you, for I will accept his prayer that I deal not with you after your folly, in that you have not spoken of Me the thing that is right, as My servant Job has. So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went and did as the Lord commanded them; and the Lord accepted Job’s prayer. And the Lord turned the captivity of Job and restored his fortunes, when he prayed for his friends; also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.” Job 42:1-11.
