ONE REQUEST, TWENTY FOUR ANSWERS

Post date: Aug 23, 2012 7:09:09 AM

One single decision, and one single action, turn the life of Hannah around for good forever, and gave her the grace and the blessing that had eluded her for years. It also opens the doors for unending joy and celebration, confidence and gladness beyond her best imagination. It restored her dignity and respect in her husband’s house and amongst women. Hannah requested for just a son, but God in His mercy gave her seven children and many other things she did not request for. That decision and action opened the doors for Hannah’s unexpected miracle. I am glad to tell you that, despite the present predicament, delays, confusion, and uncoordinated ideas, there will soon be a day and time of your rejoicing and gladness beyond your imagination. The gloominess of all things around you cannot continue the way they are forever. We are entering the season of divine movement in our lives and that of our children, friend and Nation in all things. Fear and uncertainty cannot withstand bended knees and humbled hearts forever. The bows and chains of wickedness cannot stand our continuous commitment to Christ Jesus and to excellence in the things of God. Our faith is not shaken neither is our trust weakened because of our situation.  We are serving the God whose testimonies cannot be exhausted. Whose words cannot fail, and whose promises and faithfulness are eternal and divinely sustained.

What we cannot do with our strength, God will help us do with His strength. What we cannot undo in our lives and situations, God will help us under them when we keep rejecting the uncomfortable and undesirable things vehemently. What we cannot achieve will come to us when we keep persevering in asking, seeking and knocking. Never allow the devil to speak contrary word to you, your steadfastness is not in vain, you will see the result of God’s faithfulness and your consistency in believe, and people will see, call, and know you differently thereafter. Those unpleasant names about you is about to give way for the names you dream of and desire. The God who granted Hanna’s request will grant ours also. Our faith is strength and our hope is brighter. We will sing a new song and our heart will see the joy of the Lord.

Everything about Hannah changed when she decided to pray rather than join in a ceremony. She asked for a son (one), but God in His mercy gave her abundantly and above her request.

“Then Hannah prayed: My heart rejoices in the Lord. The Lord has made me strong.  Now I have an answer for my enemies; I rejoice because you rescued me. No one is holy like the Lord. There is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God. Stop acting so proud and haughty. Don’t speak with such arrogance. For the Lord is a God who knows what you have done; he will judge your actions. The bow of the mighty is now broken, and those who stumbled are now strong. Those who were well fed are now starving, and those who were starving are now full. The childless woman now has seven children, and the woman with many children wastes away. The Lord gives both death and life; he brings some down to the grave but raises others up. The Lord makes some poor and others rich; he brings some down and lifts others up. He lifts the poor from the dust and the needy from the garbage dump. He sets them among princes, placing them in seats of honor. For all the earth is the Lord’s, and he has set the world in order. He will protect his faithful ones, but the wicked will disappear in darkness. No one will succeed by strength alone. Those who fight against the Lord will be shattered. He thunders against them from heaven; the Lord judges throughout the earth. He gives power to his king; he increases the strength of his anointed one.” 1 Samuel 2:1-10 (NLT). That is what your God can do and that is my expectation for you as we continue in Him.  Remember the third and final phase of our “TEAR DOWN THIS WALL” Prayers is August 25-27, 2012.
