“And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but He that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so, must the Son of man be lifted up, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He that believeth on Him is not condemned, but he that believeth not is condemned already because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. The Father loveth the Son and hath given all things into His hand. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life, and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him.” John 3:13-19; 35-36

God sent Jesus Christ into the world because of His love for all humanity, because of His desire to have man restored back to Him in love and in purpose, restored back into the things He had destined for man from the beginning. Jesus Christ came for the redemption of our spirit, soul, and body; He came so that we can have peace with God, with ourselves, and peace with all men fully restored; He came for our spiritual and physical restoration and well-being. He came so that we can have justification through forgiveness and the salvation of our soul. He came so that through Him we can be redeemed from sin, delivered from the powers of sin, and set free from the consequences of sin which is always condemnation without mercy and without hope. He came so that through Him we will have the power to stand up after a fall; after mistakes and have the victory we desire over evil plans and have the life that is true and meaningful and purposeful.

Jesus Christ came so that we will be enslaved by evil thoughts, evil words, and evil works; He came so that we will be renewed in our hearts, in our minds, in our desires, and in our works, as we believe, trust in Him and work with Him. He came to nullify the power of every form of just and unjust condemnation against us through the power of His mercies, and take away every form of evil judgment that Satan had been handed down to us. He went to the Cross at Calvary to pay the final price for our total redemption and salvation with His own body and blood; He went to the grave to fight the final battle against Satan so that all who believed and follow Him will be completely free form the power of Satan and his agents in all things. In the grave, Jesus Christ obtained the keys to our freedom and justification and set us up for the upward journey and blessings from heaven. “And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath He quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses, blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross. And having spoiled principalities and powers, He made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. I am the living one. I was dead, but now I am alive forever and ever. I have authority over death and the world of the dead.” Colossians 2:13-15; Revelation 1:18.

Remember, through Salvation, Jesus Christ had quickened you together with him, He had in His love forgiven you all trespasses; He has blotted out the handwriting of ordinances that was and is against you and was contrary to you, He took them all out of the way; He nailed them to His cross. On your behalf, He spoiled principalities and powers, made a show of them openly, triumphed over them and said to you with all authority and assurance, I have authority over death and the world of the dead. Jesus Christ did not come to condemn you but to redeem and to restore you in every area of your life. Remember His name and His purpose. For prayers, Click here
