IT IS TIME TO SHOW MERCY OH LORD (2)

“Peace has been stripped away, and I have forgotten what prosperity is. I cry out, my splendor is gone. Everything I had hoped for from the Lord is lost. The thought of my suffering and homelessness is bitter beyond words. I will never forget this awful time, as I grieve over my loss. Yet I still dare to hope when I remember this: The faithful love of the Lord never ends, His mercies never cease. Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, the Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him. The Lord is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him. So it is good to wait quietly for salvation from the Lord. And it is good for people to submit at an early age to the yoke of His discipline: Let them sit alone in silence beneath the Lord’s demands. Let them lie face down in the dust, for there may be hope at last.” Lamentation 3:17-29. Definitely there is hope for you now and in the future. God’s mercy will bring you out and will bring them forth.

God’s mercies change things and change all people; it changes us and changes situations, it is able to bring favor and blessings, it changes organizations and changes the results we have in such organizations. Mercy changes judgments and takes away guilt, it delivers from depressions and frustrations, it makes a way even when we are condemned and rejected. It can open closed doors and take us through impossible situations and circumstances. God’s mercy provides us with the opportunity for a second chance and several other chances as we remain faithful and trusting in Him and His words. God’s mercies never end, it is not restricted, it is not afraid of people or laws, or judges, or judgments, or places; and it is not limited to age or gender or race.

Through God’s mercy, we receive forgiveness, through His mercy we have salvation, through His mercy we have access to His throne when we pray; through His mercy we have the life right now and in the future. Through His mercy He open doors that brought us where we are now and will take us where we ought to be; through His mercy, we will triumph even when we resisted by evil conspiracies and demands, we are rejected for being good and doing good, we are humiliated by friends and associates and people, when we are insulted for believing and speaking about Christ Jesus and made to suffer the pains we do not deserve.

I am asking God to show us mercy so that we can go higher; mercy so that we can move beyond your present level; mercy so that we can go beyond your present status; we can go beyond and higher than your best dreams; mercy so that we can receive favor in your present job or mercy to have a new and promising position and job; mercy to be promoted after years of stagnation and insults; mercy to move beyond all forms of stigma; mercy to be healed and have health; mercy to see and do things that glorify our Father in heaven; mercy to see the fulfillment of God’s plans, God’s promises, and God’s desires in our lives and situations; mercy to live in full obedience to His words; mercy to overcome sin, resist the temptation to sin, and mercy to overcome the pressing temptation to compromise His standards; mercy to scale over every roadblock and every stumbling trials; mercy to receive blessings from high heavens; mercy to speak the word of God with power and with signs and wonders following; mercy to remain saved and to see the salvation of our spouse, our children, our friends, our family members and our neighbors; mercy to be among the best and to come out on top and strong in every situation, in every location irrespective of the system of the government and the organization, irrespective of the people in control of such organizations, and irrespective of the prevailing religion in that place.

It is by His mercies that we are not yet consumed. His mercy will lead, will direct, and will preserve us until we see and enjoy His blessings. “For God said to Moses, I will show mercy to anyone I choose, and I will show compassion to anyone I choose. So it is God who decides to show mercy. We can neither choose it nor work for it.” Romans 9:15-16. For prayers, Click here
