There are several things in life that causes fear to take root and grow and sadness to last longer than expected with and in you such that they become a severe hindrance that determines what you are and what you will be next in life. Some of the things that cause the fears and sadness’s are real while some are also imaginary; some are due to past history in our lives and that of our family members, and some are due to the things we had observed and known in the life of those around us. one thing is very certain in life, irrespective of what we know about ourselves, our family, our children, our spouses, our job situation, and our relatives, irrespective of what we have read, what we have seen and confirmed to be true in the lives of others around us and family members, irrespective of the age of the history behind such situations, irrespective of what the devil is doing and had done, when we come Christ Jesus, He will overrule their hold and effects in our lives and thereafter we are bound to overcome them, we are bound to set a new mark because of the power in His blood working faithfully in and through us, because of His for us and His presence in and with us.

Jesus Christ our Lord knew what He was coming to the world to do; He knew what He will experience, He knew people will oppose Him, they will speak ill of Him, they will seek to kill and destroy Him and His followers; He knew He will die on the cross; He knew He will be buried, He knew He will be raised from the death, and above all He knew the joy that was ahead of Him thereafter, and the scripture said but for the joy that was set before Him, He accepted to come into the world. He could have refused and said no to all that He knew will come after Him, but He knew despite those things, He joy was assured. He could have avoided all the suffering and no one would have accused Him of doing wrong, yet for the joy that was before Him He did not refused and did not avoid them.

He was joyful because He knew His Father in heaven will not lie, will not change His words, will not abandon Him and will not deny Him. He was joyful because He knew He had done the absolute will of His Father; He was joyful because He did not fail His Father in any way; He was joyful because He knew He accomplished all that the Father sent Him and He was joyful because He had laid a solid foundation of our salvation that will never be destroyed by any force of darkness from hell, and with that, He looked forward to the fullness of the promise. Jesus Christ our Lord was joyful that He will be a success in all areas of human living, and He was; He will be victorious in life and in death and he was; that the grave will not hold back, and it did not; that human cruelty will not stop Him and they did not stop Him. God has prepared joyful days and years for you ahead; He had set His date and His day for you and nothing will stop that from coming. Because of the joy that is ahead for you in Christ, do not allow fear rule over you again, do not allow doubts to hinder you again and do not allow past evil history to be your source shame. God is turning things around for you.

You may not see it, but I urge you to believe it; you may not know them yet I want you to trust God and you may have doubts, but when God finishes His works, you will rejoice. “Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses who by faith have testified to the truth of God’s absolute faithfulness, stripping off every unnecessary weight and the sin which so easily and cleverly entangles us, let us run with endurance and active persistence the race that is set before us, looking away from all that will distract us and focusing our eyes on Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of faith the first incentive for our belief and the One who brings our faith to maturity, who for the joy of accomplishing the goal set before Him endured the cross, disregarding the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God revealing His deity, His authority, and the completion of His work.
