LET ME LIVE TO PRAISE YOU

Post date: Dec 27, 2013 5:00:05 AM

Your good deeds can never go in vain, they will be rewarded. God will preserve you for the reward; He will defend and support you till they start showing up and you stand up to give Him the praise He deserves in your life. You have not believed in vain, you have not followed him for nothing, and you have not done anything wrong. Despite the delays, denials and the confrontations, despite the facts which you know quite well, God will keep you for that which He had promised and for that which are in His book of remembrance just for you.

Beside the revitalizing words of our Lord God, beside all the powers in the word monitoring you and beside all the beautiful people around you, beside those who encourages you, those who offers their love and advice, the best person to look at you, speak to you and for you positively, and stand up for you in all situations is yourself first. The best person to rightly judge your ways and motives is yourself, and that is done by using the illumination in the word of God, and the best person to keep you encouraged and to stand upright, look up to the future and move on to the beautiful things that God had in place for you is yourself. You owe yourself all the courage and all the love that God had already earmarked for you and you can have them.

Truly you have prayed from your heart, you have labored hard to realize the promise, you have done your very best to be the very best, you have not cheated anyone in anything, you have paid your dues when due, you supported the cause of the faithful and the people of faith within your reach, you have looked after the motherless in various locations, provided for the widows and the fatherless and for the less privilege, you have given to their needs, you have encouraged the discouraged, you have wiped the tears off the eyes of many, and you have looked unto God in everything you have done through the year.

Those good services can never go in vain, the love and care you have shown will never go unrewarded, God has His eyes on you and on the things you have done in His name, He will never forget you, and He will not forget those excellent services you have rendered. Those services are good reasons to look forward with hope for greater opportunities and open doors.

David prayed: “See how I love your precepts; preserve my life, Lord, in accordance with your love. All your words are true; all your righteous laws are eternal. Rulers persecute me without cause, but my heart trembles at your word. I rejoice in your promise like one who finds great spoil. I hate and detest falsehood but I love your law. Seven times a day I praise you for your righteous laws. Great peace have those who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble. I wait for your salvation, Lord, and I follow your commands. I obey your statutes, for I love them greatly. I obey your precepts and your statutes, for all my ways are known to you. May my cry come before you, Lord; give me understanding according to your word. May my supplication come before you; deliver me according to your promise. May my lips overflow with praise, for you teach me your decrees. May my tongue sing of your word, for all your commands are righteous. May your hand be ready to help me, for I have chosen your precepts. I long for your salvation, Lord, and your law gives me delight. Let me live that I may praise you, and may your laws sustain me. I have strayed like a lost sheep. Seek your servant, for I have not forgotten your commands.” Psalm 119:159-175

David presented this request, despite the attacks and persecutions, his heart stands in reverential respect of the power in God’s word, he was hopeful and always waited for the manifestation of the promise in his life; he asked for understanding, discernment, comprehension and concluded by saying, “let me live that I may praise you.” God will grant you this request.
