UNFORGETTABLE GOD

“And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.” Genesis 17:7

Since it was impossible for God to forget our Lord Christ Jesus on the cross at Calvary, it is also impossible for Him to forget you in your daily weaknesses and struggles.

Since it was impossible for God to forget Adam and Eve when they sinned in the Garden of Eden, it is impossible also for God to forget you. Even in sin God came down and had a purposeful conversation with them with the aim of a full restoration. That same God is also seeking to have a conversation with you today. Unlike Adam and Eve, you will be wiser to admit through Christ Jesus. “Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, where are you?” Genesis 3:9

Since it was impossible for God to forget Noah in the deluge of water after delivering him and his family from its destruction, it is also impossible for God to forget you and everything that is with you after saving your soul from hell.  “Then God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the animals that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the water subsided” Genesis 8:1

Since it was impossible for God to forget Hagar after she was sent out of the house as a result of an in-house jealousy, and the fact that she was still trusting God for help, that same God will not forget you despite the jealousies that you are presently experiencing in your offices, home, marriage, business, and those that seek to destroy you for no reason. “And the angel of the Lord found her by a spring of water in the wilderness, by the spring on the way to Shur.” Genesis 16:7

Since it was impossible for God to forget the children of Abraham by reason of the covenant, He remembered them whenever they cry to Him for any reason in Egypt, when faced with lacks, wars, temptations, sickness, curses, sufferings and in the wilderness. “So God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God acknowledged them.” Exodus 2:24-25. That same God will remember His covenant with Christ Jesus concerning you as you look unto Christ daily. John 6:37-38. God owes you as long as you keep your decision and commitment in Him.

Since it was impossible for God to forget Job despite all the works of the devil against him personally, all his children and family and his entire business, it is also impossible for God to forget you forever. Job did build a solid relationship and partnership with God in being upright, upholding the fear of God above all things and forgiving even his friends that had accused him in his time trouble. “And the Lord restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as He had before” Job 42:10. Can you forgive unconditionally? Again you owe God your decision and commitment and God owes you a full restoration.

“Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.”  Deuteronomy 7:9

Despite your thoughts and the prevailing circumstances, the fears and tears, the rejections, denials and delays, frustrations, weakness and discouragement, God will remember you, with the aim of restoring you and keeping you up and going for His glory.

That unforgettable God has not forgotten you.
