IS ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR GOD TO DO? (02)

Even when God gives us a revelation, a dream or plants a desire in our hearts, He is not asking and is not expecting us to do the impossible in order to have or fulfill them; all He wants us to do is believe His words, believe the promise is true and possible, trust Him to do it for us and to do all that is possible in our lives as He gives us the grace and ability. God wants us to ask Him at all for the impossible, trust Him in all situations for the impossible and look unto Him to accomplish the impossible in, for and around us. Did you know that despite the delays, the frustration and the humiliations, your appointed time set by the Lord our God will definitely come and nothing will change the time and the content of the promise or take it away from you? His appointment time is never shifted or taken away irrespective of the demons on our path, the resistance we face, the frustrations, sadness and the humiliations we experience. Sarah was told clearly by the angles of God that faithful day that despite the fact that you laughed at the reminder of God’s promises to you when you were young, despite the fact that you have done all you could without succeeding to make it come true, despite the fact that you are now old and beyond the age of conception and despite the fact that you have been told and have spent time and money pursuing the promise, God had not forgotten His words, promises and the appointed time had not shifted or changed by your physical circumstances and understanding.

The angel told Abraham after observing the laughter of Sarah with all confidence, “I will return to you at the appointed time next year, and Sarah will have a son” and to Sarah’ amazement and Abraham joy that it came to pass this time without them trying anything new again and Sarah in her usual way graciously laughed again. This is how it happened, “The Lord graciously remembered and visited Sarah as He had said, and the Lord did for her as He had promised. So Sarah conceived and gave birth to a son for Abraham in his old age, at the appointed time of which God had spoken to him. Abraham named his son Isaac, laughter, the son to whom Sarah gave birth. So Abraham circumcised his son Isaac when he was eight days old, just as God had commanded him. Abraham was a hundred years old when his son Isaac was born. Sarah said, God has made me laugh; all who hear about our good news will laugh with me. And she said, who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? For I have given birth to a son by him in his old age. The child Isaac grew and was weaned, and Abraham held a great feast on the day that Isaac was weaned.” Genesis 21:1-8

I want you to always remember that despite the frustrations, the sadness, the disappointments, the losses, the fears, the loneliness and the humiliations you have suffered or will suffer, as long as you remain in Him and remain faithful to Him, God has an appointed time for you and it will definitely come. He will do the impossible, He will confirm His words and He will perform in your life all that He had ever promised without changing Him time or shifting the impact that will follow. Your expectations may fail but His words will not fail, your dreams may fail or be delayed but Hs time to fulfill them will not fail.

“The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things which are revealed and disclosed belong to us and to our children forever, so that we may do all of the words of this law. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away. For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts higher than your thoughts. For as the rain and snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth, making it bear and sprout, and providing seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so will My word be which goes out of My mouth; it will not return to Me void without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.” Deuteronomy 29:29, Matthew 24:35, Isaiah 55:8-11.
