LORD, THERE IS NO EMPTY FAITH

In following Christ Jesus, faith will always be one of the basic requirements that will enable you to reach the best heights in the dreams He gave you and in the desires you set for yourself to achieve in life. God’s kind of faith will always depend on something, hope for something, trust in something and look forward to something great and better. Let your faith depend on what you know about your God not on what you know and think of yourself. Let your faith hope on what God says of your situation, not on what you think and on what people say in that situation. Let your faith trust in the God who made you, saved you, keep you, and preserve you for something bigger and better tomorrow. Let your faith always look forward to the expectations that only God can bring, expectations that are far beyond the powers of men, the imaginations of your thoughts and the ability of people around you.

With faith, you can surmount every mountain successfully despite its heights, the roughness, the fears, the number of years of delays and the words of impossibilities from any quarter. Every level of faith will be rewarded by God and will always produce a result. After becoming a true believer, the kind of life you live and the result you produce directly depends on your level of faith. Your new life is made very effective, very active, much secured and very productive through your faith irrespective of your troubles you will ever experience in life.

It is amazing to know that Job did not survive that satanic troubles in his life, in his business and in his family through any other means but through an undying faith in the power and ability of God to do what he expected and know only God can do. Faith is relying on God absolutely despite the turbulence, despite the severity of your pains, the frustrations in your dreams and desires, the denials of your rights and privileges. Faith is waiting on God and on His words until they are fully manifested in your life.

Faith will always keep alive issues that had been considered closed, pronounced dead and vowed never to be revisited by men. Faith is never empty, never idle, never without substance and never without power to bring back and to restore life and hope for better days ahead. Faith is God’s requirement for exceptional rewards and progress in life.

“Now faith is the assurance, the confirmation of the things we hope for, being the proof of things we do not see and the conviction of their reality, faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses. For by faith trust and holy fervor born of faith the men of old had divine testimony borne to them and obtained a good report. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that what we see was not made out of things which are visible. Prompted, actuated by faith, Abel brought God a better and more acceptable sacrifice than Cain, because of which it was testified of him that he was righteous, that he was upright and in right standing with God, and God bore witness by accepting and acknowledging his gifts. And though he died, yet he is still speaking. Because of faith Enoch was caught up and transferred to heaven, so that he did not have a glimpse of death; and he was not found, because God had translated him. For even before he was taken to heaven, he received testimony that he had pleased and been satisfactory to God. But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must necessarily believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:1-6

You will never get the God required kind of faith from any street discussion or from any kind of social media talk outlets; you will never develop your faith through any flimsy material things and talks irrespective of its promised rewards. True faith only comes through the hearing of the word of God and the reward of faith comes through your consistency in hearing God words.
