LORD, I BELIEVE I CAN CHANGE  (2)

"This is the word the Lord spoke to Zerubbabel; You won’t succeed by might or by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord Almighty.” Zechariah 4:6. Did you know your change is inevitable, very certain, and true? It will definitely come; God will make it happen because He said so. It will not come from the people or the government or any powerful individual irrespective of their enormous wealth, high offices, special locations, or their physical or spiritual powers. It will come from the God who alone is able to do far beyond what you or anyone else can ever think or imagine in their best frame of mind and reasoning. Your daily reasoning is good but they are too small compared to what God will do; your knowledge of what to do and how to do them are good but there are completely insufficient to take you to where you want to be in life, but despite the challenges, the obstructions, the evil plots, and the manipulations, God will take you to where He had planned and prepared before you were even conceived in the womb.

Peter was a devoted Jew; he knew the Almighty God, believed His words and was a professional fisherman, but he experienced a change that surpasses his earlier knowledge, his profession, his ability, and his senses. Peter did not remain a fisherman after deciding to follow Jesus Christ. He was physically and spiritually changed; his life was changed thereafter, his perception of things and reasoning was completely changed, and above all, his profession was also changed and he remains changed forever. God gave him new ideas, new management skills, a new understanding of events and people, and new abilities - “And Jesus said to Simon, do not be afraid. From now on you will catch men. Don't be afraid; from now on you will be catching people.” Luke 5:10b. Jesus Christ did not tell Simon Peter later you will be, He told him “from now” you will be. Peter’s change was inevitable, unavoidable, and immediate. That is the kind of change I am trusting God for in your life and situation. Changes that will bring you to your best physically and spiritually, changes that will bring you to your best in your chosen profession or change the profession; changes that will bring you to your best where you are or change where you are, changes that will bring peace in your marriage, family, business, children, and spouse; changes that will bring you good health and financial freedom, financial independence, and be debt free. changes that will last your lifetime. Jesus Christ who made the change in the life of Peter to be possible will make yours possible also.

When God was about changing the life of Abraham from what it was to the very best ever as He had designed and destined for him, He changed his location by asking him to relocate physically. God may or may not want you to relocate, but He definitely wants you to experience a change that will be seen in your life personally and by men. If He wants you to relocate or change your profession or job, He will make the way and will lead you through. I am asking God for the change that will be ‘from now’, not later in your life. When God gave Abraham a change, He told him your change will affect your descendants forever; they will inherit the change, they will possess a new place; they will experience physical and spiritual change, they will experience His power in ways the earth had never experienced, they will sow seeds and have good harvest; they will sow and others will not take it from them; they will not be barren or suffer barrenness; they will not be put to shame by their enemies, and they will not be enslaved forever.

“The angel of the Lord called to Abraham from heaven a second time and said, I swear by myself, declares the Lord, that because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son, I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me.” Genesis 22:15-18.
