DEAR LORD, I AM BEING MOCKED (01)

Post date: May 28, 2018 3:46:15 AM

There are several reasons that you are being mocked by family members, friends, colleagues, and even by people who do not know you but observe you from a distant. Many parents are mocked by their children and many children are mocked by their parents; many are mocked by their spouse and many are mocked by relatives and neighbors. Some of the reasons they mocked us are true and genuine and some are false and are based on their assumptions and expectations of you in many ways and in many things, but that should not be so, it should not happen to you for any reason and it should not be you. Their mockery is painful and humiliating but it will not last says the Lord; their mockery pushes to condemn yourself and feel inferior in many ways and in many things but it will last long, says the Lord. Their mockery makes you question your God, doubt His power and promise and the efficacy of His words; it makes you think negatively and act fearfully, it restrains your love for what you desire and want and it restrains your association with others, but the Lord is turning things around.

The coming of Jesus Christ, the words of Jesus Christ, the actions of Jesus Christ, and the true and free salvation of your soul were all designed to turn things around in your life. The prayers you have prayed, the fasting you engage in, the fellowship you have with the Father, with Christ our Lord, with the Holy Spirit, with other believers, the reading of the scriptures and believing and following them were and are designed to turn things around in your life and for you and I am very convinced and assured that our God will not fail in any of His plans and promises that ever concerns your life and your destiny. Your hope will not fail; your long waits, trust and believe will not turn to shame, and your fellowship will definitely be rewarded. God has justified you and your actions; He had not justified the mockers and will not justify their actions against you. God is with you despite their mockery and the associated shame, there is hope for you, there is hope in you, God is not idle concerning you, He had not approved their words against you. God will fulfill His plans, none will fail and you will see them. Oh dear Father, please do something in my life and do it quick. This mockery will not destroy you and will not stop God’s plans for you.

“Therefore, since we have been justified, declared blameless before God by faith, let us grasp the fact that we have peace with God and reconciliation with Him through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through Him, we have access by faith into this remarkable state of grace in which we firmly and safely and securely stand. Let us rejoice in our hope and the confident assurance of enjoying the glory of our great God and the manifestation of His excellence and power. And not only this but with joy let us exult in our sufferings and rejoice in our hardships, knowing that hardship, distress, pressure, trouble produces patient endurance; and endurance, proves character; and proven character, hope, and confident assurance. Such hope in God’s promises never disappoints us, because God’s love has been abundantly poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. While we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. Now it is an extraordinary thing for one to willingly give his life even for an upright man, though perhaps for a good man someone might even dare to die. But God clearly shows and proves His own love for us, by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Therefore, since we have now been justified, declared free of the guilt of sin by His blood, how much certain is it that we will be saved from the wrath of God through Him. For if while we were enemies were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, it is much more certain, having been reconciled, that we will be saved from consequences of sin by His life. Not only that, but we also rejoice in God, rejoicing in His love and perfection through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have received and enjoyed our reconciliation with God.” Romans 5:1-11.
