FAITH WILL ELEVATE YOU.

Faith is not cheap, it is not easy, and it is not mere words. Faith is trust, confidence, bold actions, hope in motion, it is perseverance, and faith is consistent expectation even in times of despair, disappointment, and failures. Faith is the test of obedience and dedication to follow the word of God as Abraham did to distinguish himself from others. Your faith can distinguish you from others in the same situation, location, and affliction. “Happy are those who remain faithful under trials because when they succeed in passing such a test, they will receive as their reward the life which God has promised to those who love him.” James 1:12. Through faith in Christ and in His promises, we have the assurance of success.

Faith in God is daring to see beyond what you already see; know beyond what everyone already knows; speak beyond the knowledge of men and live in expectation of only what God will do irrespective of what the world may say or feel in that same situation. The Christian faith is having absolute confidence in Jesus Christ, not in oneself, or things irrespective of their nature. It is confidence in Christ's ability to bring us through every circumstance in every location irrespective of age, wealth, position, and name. Everyone will face divers trials, temptations, and unprepared circumstances that may sometimes be too great to handle, but through faith in Christ Jesus, we know those things we experience are not too great or impossible for Him to handle and to take us through. Jesus Christ is Lord over everything on earth and in heaven, whether they are physical or spiritual. He is Lord over our darkest times, our toughest temptations, and the strongest trials from the devil and his men. He is Lord in the daytime and in the night time and in all seasons.

To a true Christian, faith is having a personal assurance in the power of the word of God, holding on to a personal conviction in the saving grace of salvation through the powers of Jesus Christ; it is having assurance in what the word says and standing on it without shifting ground. Faith is not knowing how it will be done but knowing it will be done because God said it in His word. Faith for a Christian is knowing that God will not in any way of form fail; it is knowing that even when it takes a long time to come; even when the enemies are powerful, standing all around to hinder and prevent, even when the earth rumbles and turns, even past estimated time, even when the sun refuses to shine, even when men rub us of our rights and denies us of our privileges, God will still fulfill His plans in us, through us, and we will end well. “You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised. For in just a little while, He who is coming will come and will not delay. But my righteous one will live by faith. I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.” Hebrews 10:36-38

The bible did not say everyone will live by faith, but the righteous in Christ Jesus will and should live by faith and I am convinced, faith in His word will not in any way fail to yield the purpose to which He sent His word. The prophets of old proved it, the apostles proved it, and you will prove the word of God as true also. Faith will keep you until you see the goodness and confirmation of the word and promises of God in your life despite the physical odds against you in that situation. “Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses. He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men. Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving,  and declare His works with rejoicing.” Why do you cry about your affliction? Those who devour you shall be devoured; all your adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; those who plunder you shall become plunder, and all who prey upon you, I will make a prey. For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds, says the Lord, because they called you an outcast saying, this is Zion, no one seeks her.” Psalms 107:19-22; Jeremiah 30:15-17.
