“YOU ARE MUCH MORE THAN THESE (1)”

Locked and closed doors can be opened; hindrances can be removed; beliefs can be changed; fears can be taken away; even in confusion, God can still lead you to the right place; sickness can be healed; rejection does not end the promises of God; failure is never the end of struggles; loneliness is not the reason for self-rejection; disappointment is not a roadblock to your dreams; discouragement does not close the doors to opportunities; what you hear today does not prevent God from speaking to you again; what you experience before is not a guarantee that things will not and cannot change for you, despite the darkness of the night, there will be a breaking of a new day for you; God is still in control of your life. You are far better than what you are now than what you see now; than what you are experiencing now and what people are telling you concerning yourself and your future. You are a child beloved by the Almighty God, saved by the precious blood of Jesus Christ, delivered from the shackles of shame and despair, preserved for better things and better times, enabled by His divine power to be productive and happy, defended in the day and in the night from the evils of Satan and his agents. There is something much more than what you see, know and understand about yourself your God is greater than your fears and all of your disappointments in life combined, He will meet your needs.

Irrespective of what you have been told in your past and you are seeing manifested in your life and situations, God said you are much more than the words of men, much more than the desires and wishes of men, much more than the predictions of men and much more than all the manipulations of men irrespective of their positions and authority. You may have been left behind, you will recover; you may have been marginalized, you will be brought forward; you may have been abused and shamefully treated yet you are not rejected by your God; you will still receive the blessings, the grace and the opportunity to showcase the goodness of God in your life and in the things people had counted as impossible for you to attain. You may be at your worst low ever, but God said you are much more than that in His sights; there is and there will be a rising up for you; you may be at your moments of the unusual disappointment and shame for any reason, but God said the going down of the sun today definitely predicts the rising up of the same sun the next day. Do not be dismayed, God has a better plan for you and He will do it. “For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. I will be found by you, says the Lord. I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes. I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and will bring you home again to your own land.” Jeremiah 29:11-14

The things you are going through is a passing shadow; they are things that God had commanded not to be established in you; they are things God had spoken against, they are things the devil is using to tempt you and to seek your audience with him; they are things that God had said in the name of Jesus Christ you will overcome; they are things that will use as a stepping stone to raise you up and high; they are things that you will use as your reference point because of what God will do next after you have passed the test and overcome the temptation. King David used the rejection of his parents as a reference point after God had raised him to a position of honor, so will yours be. “And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord. Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice. Have mercy also upon me, and answer me. When You said, seek My face, my heart said to You, Your face, Lord, I will seek. Do not hide Your face from me; do not turn Your servant away in anger; You have been my help; Do not leave me nor forsake me, O God of my salvation. When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take care of me. Teach me Your way, O Lord, and lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies.” Psalm 27:6-13. For Prayers, Click here
