THROUGH FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS, I WILL

These are two powerful words in Hebrews eleven that dominates and explains all the great exploits of great men and women of God of old. If your faith does not secure your destiny and your blessings now and in the future, your fears and doubts will definitely do that for you. The word “fear” is more devastating than most of us will ever come to understand. Its effect is felt years after it had finished its destructive work in our lives and effects last very long.

There is no faith without a challenge, no success without a substantial amount of work, and no crown without a cross. Faith builds, open doors, and makes available strategies to achieve success. Whatever the Lord has called you to be, you will achieve them, all that God gave to you will come to you together with the ones you have lost, and you can recover through working in faith and the leading of His Spirit. Faith at any level is never without an inherent fear, without confusing doubt and without certain unspecified uncertainty; but when determination based on your personal desire to fulfill every word and promise of God for your life is at work, you will instantly remember that God had given you through the Holy Spirit, all the boldness you need to confront that fear, that doubt and every uncertainties that seeks to destroy your faith and hinder your blessings. “For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear, but He has given us a spirit of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.” 2 Timothy 1:7

Accompanying every gift and promises from God is the spirit of boldness, power, calmness, self-control, and a balanced mind to go get it. You have to build on your developed faith a godly and sincere determination to persist until the deal is done, the promise is delivered into your hands, and you are happily thanking God for it. While you are doing this, the devil will confront you with several bolts of fear, doubts and numerous faith derailing uncertainties. This is where your perseverance and determination is truly measured and rewarded by God.

God will not ignore your faith in Him and in His promises; He will not ignore your perseverance and your determination in working to see those promises fulfilled. He will not delay speaking back to you through your faith and your determination. God is calling you daily to come closer to Him, to be deeper in your understanding of His plans for your lives and your purpose on earth; He is calling you to come closer into His presence and receive the power you need before going out with determination to impart your generation. He is calling you to be armed with His words, His Spirit and bold determination. He is calling you to be a success, despite what the devil is doing or going to do. By faith, you can overcome the mountain.

“He said, In a certain city there was a judge who neither reverenced and feared God nor respected or considered man. And there was a widow in that city who kept coming to him and saying, Protect and defend and give me justice against my adversary. And for a time he would not; but later he said to himself, Though I have neither reverence or fear for God nor respect or consideration for man, Yet because this widow continues to bother me, I will defend and protect and avenge her, lest she give me intolerable annoyance and wear me out by her continual coming or at the last she come and rail on me or assault me or strangle me. Then the Lord said, Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not our just God defend and protect and avenge His elect, His chosen ones, who cry to Him day and night? Will He defer them and delay help on their behalf? I tell you, He will defend and protect and avenge them speedily. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find persistence in faith on the earth? For by faith, trust and holy fervor born of faith, the men of old had divine testimony borne to them and obtained a good report.” Luke 18:2-8, Hebrews 11:2. For Prayer Click here
