GIVE ME A NEW SONG THIS SEASON OH LORD

Post date: Dec 20, 2017 4:49:02 AM

Every new season of God’s children is with great joy, with great hope, with a miracle, with great expectations, and with a fulfillment of His promise, this season will not be different for you as you join the rest of the world in celebration of joy this Christmas. For those with hope, that hope will be fulfilled; for those with expectation, that expectation will come true according to His will; for those with a dream, it will be done as He had shown; for those with His words, it will come to pass as He had said, and for those who are waiting, your time of wait is over because our Savior Jesus Christ is born and He came to fulfill a purpose and a promise of the Father to us. When Sarah finally conceived and gave birth to Isaac as promised by God after twenty-five years of waiting, pains, praying, trusting, shame, and humiliation, she sang a song of joy expressing what God had done for her, by taking away her shame and giving her peace in her heart through the fulfillment of a promise; she said God had made her laugh and others who hear and see what God had done for her will also laugh with her. “God has brought me laughter. All who hear about this will laugh with me. Genesis 21:6. Yours might or might not be a child, but you are scheduled to have a joyful laugh after months or years of waiting, shame and restlessness of any kind in your heart and life. You have heard the miracle of God to Sarah in her due season and you will laugh for good in your own due season. This Christmas season will be of joy to you.

When God took away the reproach of Zechariah and Elizabeth after years of waiting and trusting and prayers, it was a moment of joy, a time of godly laughter, a celebration of life, fulfillment, and prophecy to the rest of us. Zechariah joyfully declared: “Praise the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has visited and redeemed his people. He has sent us a mighty Savior from the royal line of his servant David, just as he promised through his holy prophets long ago. Now we will be saved from our enemies and from all who hate us. He has been merciful to our ancestors by remembering his sacred covenant, the covenant he swore with an oath to our ancestor Abraham. We have been rescued from our enemies so we can serve God without fear, in holiness and righteousness for as long as we live. And you, my little son, will be called the prophet of the Highest, because you will prepare the way for the Lord. You will tell his people how to find salvation through the forgiveness of their sins. Because of God’s tender mercy, the morning light from heaven is about to break upon us, to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, and to guide us to the path of peace.” Luke 1:68-79

Zechariah made some profound statements about God that will give us joy; (1) God has visited and redeemed his people; God’s visitation is always for the purpose of redemption. (2) God has sent us a mighty Savior, for a purpose, (3) as He promised through His holy prophets long ago; time will not stop God from fulfilling His words. (4) Now we will be saved from our enemies and from all who hate us, His coming is a defeat to our enemies and those who hate us, it is a victory to those who accept and trusts in Him. (5) He merciful to our ancestors by remembering his sacred covenant, the promise of God to you is with a covenant sealed in His mercy and will never be broken. (6) We have been rescued from our enemies, now we are rescued from all the hands and plans of our enemies; (7) so we can serve God without fear, (8) serve Him in holiness, (9) serve Him in righteousness. What God did for others, He can do and He will do for us as we call on Him, as we wait on Him, and as we trust in Him. Every act of God on earth brings a joy that surpasses all joy to His people, this season and beyond, you will have such joy; every act of God on earth brings gladness to the world and you will enjoy that heavenly gladness this season; every act of God on earth produces some amazing miracles to those who believe, trust, and fix their eyes on Him, this season, you will have a miracle. Sarah said He has made me laugh; that will be your testimony as you celebrate this Christmas. For Prayers, Click here
