“GOD’S WORD FOR YOU WILL NOT FAIL EVEN WHEN YOU LACK IDEAS”

“I returned and saw under the sun that, the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor favor to men of skill; but time and chance happen to them all.” Ecclesiastes 9:11. Do not feel rejected when you lack transforming ideas concerning your life and projects you desire to do, keep on trusting God for a miracle; do not think bad about yourself, God will and can still fulfill His plans for your life. What you are going through is never new, as God made a way for others, He will make that same way for you also. In the beginning of God’s encounter with Abraham, He asked him to move to a land that He will show him and that He will make him a nation in that land, God also promised that the land will be given to his descendants; “Now the Lord had said to Abram, get out of your country, from your family and from your father’s house, to a land that I will show you. Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said, To your descendants, I will give this land” Genesis 12:1, 7. God fulfilled the promise of showing Abraham the land when a problem came between him and Lot and promised him again, I will give this land to your descendants. Why did God wait until there was a problem between him and lot before showing him the land? When the problem started with lot, Abraham did not know what to do, did not have any idea if he was on the right path or wrong path of the promise of God, he was afraid to make immediate decision and felt disappointed, but God in His love came round again at that moment to comfort Abraham by showing him the land He had promised after lot had taken his portion. “And the Lord said to Abram after Lot had separated from him: Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are, northward, southward, eastward, and westward; for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever. And I will make your descendants as the dust of the earth; so that if a man could number the dust of the earth, then your descendants also could be numbered. Arise, walk in the land through its length and its width, for I give it to you” Genesis 13:15-17. I do not know what the devil had done, but I do know that God had not forgotten He gave you a promise that He will definitely show you that promise again and will fulfill all that He had shown to you. Abraham is our example of faith and trust in the promises of God. Right from the time God spoke to him and he believed the words he heard, God never left him even when he was disappointed and felt bad by situations around him. God showed him favor and help, and God fulfilled all the promises He gave to Abraham. We serve the same God and with faith and trust in Him, we will be fulfilled.

When God called Moses in Mount Horeb, He promised to lead him and the children of Israel to the land he promised Abraham; Moses had no idea of the direction to the land, but the God who gave the promise knew the exact location to the land, knew the exact direction to the land, knew all the battles that will be fought on the way, He knew what they will need and knew He will have to fight for them to give them the land as He had promised to Abraham. God never forgets His words, never forgets the way and never forgets what you will need on that way so as to get to where He had promised and He will supply the needs. When the time is up, He will fulfill all of His words to you as He did for Moses and the children of Israel. “On this side of the Jordan in the land of Moab, Moses began to explain this law, saying, the Lord our God spoke to us in Horeb, saying: You have dwelt long enough at this mountain. Turn and take your journey, and go to the mountains of the Amorites, to all the neighboring places in the plain, in the mountains and in the lowland, in the South and on the seacoast, to the land of the Canaanites and to Lebanon, as far as the great river, the River Euphrates. See, I have set the land before you; go in and possess the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give to them and their descendants after them.” Deuteronomy 1:5-8. God gave the children of Israel the land as He promised Abraham even when they had no idea of the direction. For Prayers, Click here
