GOD ANSWERED JEHOSHAPHAT’S CRY

Post date: May 18, 2016 1:40:53 AM

Did you know crying is not only for the poor and weak and all the miserable people around? The rich, the big, the strong and the mighty also do cry like others often. There is no class of people that God had exempted from crying before Him. The bible said all knees, irrespective of class, location, profession, educational level attained, gender and color will bow before Jesus Christ either in praises or in tears on the last day and that is beginning even now. God will answer all those who cry and mourn before Him, and He will reward everyone according to what they have done to Him, with Him, for Him and to humanity while they are or were alive. God had given Jesus Christ to all humanity and whatever we do with that gift depends on us individually. Jesus Christ had given His name to all human beings on earth irrespective of location, profession, race, gender and language and whatever we do to and with that name depends on us individually. All these were done in absolutely perfect love for everyone and with a divine purpose to help us break away from the past and embrace the future that is before us. God is looking for men and women of all ages and in all locations on earth who will accept His love gift and the person and name of Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior.

His name can and will definitely make a great difference in our lives and situations physically and spiritually. His name also can set us apart from our environment and in our environment. His name can set us free from the calamities that are present and that which will come; His name is coverage and a shade against the powers of darkness and our foes empowered from the pit of hell; His name is a surety that can never be rejected in heaven; His name is an emblem that identifies us in every location and protects us from all evil; His name is the stronghold that the righteous stands on and excel; His name is the pillar on which the church stands; His name is what will be given to us when we get to name, remember we are His brothers and sister. His word is what will advance us beyond where we are when we use them properly in absolute obedience like Abraham did in His time.

When King Jehoshaphat found himself with the wrong company of Kings and in a place of battle at a time where shading of blood is not considered an offence where anyone can die, he needed to escape but he had been spotted and targeted for death; in his fears, he desired life and cried for help remembering His name and His power and the Lord helped him even in that battle to escape unhurt while others were killed. There is no place that God cannot reach out to save, deliver, to heal, to make whole, and to restore those who will remember they are His and cry in the sincerity of heart and purpose to glorify Him that He will not help them. There are no battles that can defeat Him and there are no situations that He cannot successfully change and deliver us from. In all of your situations, remember that His love, name and words work wonderfully well.

“So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat king of Judah went up to Ramoth Gilead. The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, I will enter the battle in disguise, but you wear your royal robes. So the king of Israel disguised himself and went into battle. Now the king of Aram had ordered his chariot commanders, do not fight with anyone, small or great, except the king of Israel. When the chariot commanders saw Jehoshaphat, they thought, this is the king of Israel. So they turned to attack him, but Jehoshaphat cried out, and the Lord helped him. God drew them away from him, for when the chariot commanders saw that he was not the king of Israel, they stopped pursuing him. But someone drew his bow at random and hit the king of Israel between the breastplate and the scale armor. The king told the chariot driver, wheel around and get me out of the fighting. I’ve been wounded. All day long the battle raged, and the king of Israel propped himself up in his chariot facing the Arameans until evening. Then at sunset he died.” II Chronicles 18:28-34. He answered and deliver Jehoshaphat He will do the same for you. Click here for prayer request.
