DEAR LORD, REWARD MY BEST

Post date: Apr 19, 2013 4:13:41 AM

Your very best in life is not in what you will do tomorrow but in what you are doing today and right now. It is today’s dreams, today’s desires, and today’s efforts that will show up as tomorrow’s realities of praise. The realization of your dreams tomorrow requires today’s effort and investment in the right direction. God values every one and blesses every life. No one life is a waste and none is valueless despite the challenges we encounter in our lives. The life that you are having now definitely has no duplicate anywhere else in the world, God gave it to you and no one will take it from you or deprive you forever of your very best.

Do all you can to make it the very best in whatever you are doing, in whatever situation you may find yourself. Refuse to allow negative things and negative people take control of your life, your efforts, thoughts and your expectations of tomorrow. Be very positive and positively rely on the word of God in that situation, on His help and on His ability.

Do all you can to be productive and worthy to yourself, to your God and to the people around you. God gave you this life for a purpose and you can prove yourself, show yourself, love yourself, and prove God right in this life despite those challenges. Never give up on yourself today, on your dreams, on your desires and on your efforts to see the very best in this life.

Your sorrows and pains will not be there forever. David said: “I will extol You, O Lord, for You have lifted me up, and have not let my foes rejoice over me. Lord my God, I cried out to You, And You healed me. O Lord, You brought my soul up from the grave; You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. Sing praise to the Lord, you saints of His, and give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name. For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” Psalm 30:1-5

Though never desired, your darkest moment in life might be all you needed to turn you around for the very best, redirect your path and heart to the treasures of God for you now. It might be what you needed to show to the world and your critics that you are a living example of resilience and an instrument of positive change in the hands of the Almighty.

The very worst events in your life today does not in any way predict what God will do in your life tomorrow, but your actions, your thoughts and your word in such events does. Do not allow the fears and uncertainties of today drive your dreams and aspirations of tomorrow. The fears of tomorrow had driven many people to mess up their lives today by doing what is not right and acceptable to God and man. God will not, and does not want you to gamble over your tomorrow, what to do, what to wear, were to go and what will happen. Today is in your hands for good and your tomorrow is in God’s hands for good and it is completely dependent on your action, belief, thought, dreams and desires today. The tomorrow you are thinking about is in the today that God had already given to you, show your very best today despite the pains and the disappointments. Many people are so fearful of tomorrow that they make many mistakes today. You serve the God who is able to change events. Lights shines brightest in darkness and are more appreciated then.

Your very best today will definitely expose you to the very best you are expecting tomorrow. None of your best efforts will ever be lost even when men fail to recognize and reward you soon. Despite the pains, never give up in life; never be discouraged because of today’s failures, shame and disappointments. God has not closed His eyes and ears on you. Remember, before God sent Samuel to anoint David, he had proved his vest best in the forest while taking care of his family sheep. God is watching over you and He will reward soon, men are also watching you and soon the right person will identify you and recognize your best efforts. David showed his very best before becoming a king. Do your very best today and now. “I have found My servant David; With My holy oil I have anointed him, With whom My hand shall be established” Psalm 89:20  For prayers Click here
