“But I know that the king of Egypt will not let you go unless he is forced by a strong hand. So I will reach out My hand and strike Egypt with all My wonders which I shall do in the midst of it; after that, he will let you go. And I will grant these people favor and respect in the sight of the Egyptians; therefore, it shall be that when you go, you will not go empty-handed. But every woman shall insistently ask her neighbor and any woman who lives in her house, for articles of silver and articles of gold, and clothing; and you shall put them on your sons and daughters. In this way you are to plunder the Egyptians, leaving bondage with great possessions that are rightfully yours. Now the Israelites had acted in accordance with the word of Moses, and they had asked the Egyptians for articles of silver and articles of gold, and clothing. The Lord gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians so that they gave them what they asked. And so they plundered the Egyptians of those things.” Exodus 3:19-22; Exodus 12:35-36

Captivity causes undue delays and mistakes at the point and moment of success; captivity draws you back at the brink of a breakthrough and keeps you wondering what had just happened to you or why you couldn’t make it despite doing all things right and preparing adequately for that day and moment in your life. God told Moses the king of Isreal will not let you and the children of Israel go out of their captivity unless he is forced by a strong hand. God did not tell Moses that he needed a strong hand but he needed to walk with obedience while addressing Pharaoh and the children of Israel, God told Moses he needs to depend on Him and He told Moses, He will show Pharaoh His strong hands to fulfill His desires despite Pharaoh’s strength and stubbornness. We need God’s strong hands in everything we do today to break out from all the things that had held us in bondage and in captivity. Satan will never be able to change God’s plans for you and he won't be able to change the result. There is an assured hope for you in Christ Jesus.

Have you been saved by accepting Jesus Christ as your only Lord and Savior voluntarily? That had redeemed you from evil consequences of your past sins and mistakes and nothing is holding back in sin or wickedness. That had also enabled the blood of Jesus Christ to actively wash away every stain of sin and its source in and around you, opening up ways for you to walk through with grace from God. After your acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and washing of your body by the blood of Jesus Christ, you are regenerated by the acceptance of the words and principles of Jesus Christ as stated in the Bible? Have you allowed the words of God to be your words and His ways your ways? It is by allowing God’s ways to be your ways and God’s words to be your words that you will be truly His child and ready and able to manifest His glory wherever we go breaking off the powers of captivity in whatever we do, and you will definitely not go empty-handed or come in empty handed irrespective of the captors and the wickedness of the wicked against you.

There is absolutely nothing about you that God does not know, does not understand, and does not set a time, a day, and a moment that He will show Himself strong on your behalf and bless you with His amazing favor. Before the children of Isreal went to Egypt and became bondmen and women, God had chosen Abraham, spoken to Abraham concerning them, He had also blessed Abraham in preparation, and He had told him of their day and time of freedom and set a time for that to happen. Their time in bondage in Egypt was well known in history before and their subsequent freedom also was well recorded in His history; but one thing was missing from that record and God was keeping that to Himself, that was, on their day of freedom, they will not go out empty handed. And God fulfilled it as He intended for their lives. Remember, it was not a compensation for their days in captivity by the Egyptians, it was God giving them a favor as He had intended according to His plans and purpose. your day to fulfill God’s purpose will come and on that day, God will show Himself strong for all to see.
