THE GOOD SECRETS OF JOB’S SUCCESS

The secret of Job was not only righteousness; it was not only prayers; it was not family or neighborhood care; it was not in his diligence in doing things; it was not in his sacrifices; it was not in his wealth or in his relations with his worker; it was not in his relationship with good friends in the business and it was not in his good and excellent lifestyle; it was not because he was in a good location and in a good nation. Job’s secret was nothing else but determination in his walk, in his work and in his fellowship with God. Before Job came into limelight of the scriptures; before God boasted about him before Satan; long before Satan challenged God concerning Job, and his wealth and long before Satan began his wickedness against him, job had perfected his secrets before God and nothing was able to change him; change his mind; his thoughts; his actions and his words with regards to his God.

Job knew his God and did know him well enough to completely rely on him even at a time that people were not very comfortable with his actions and words. The devil will never test you at your time of excellent comfort; he will not test you at your point of weakness but at your strong points; he will never test you at the level he will place you but at the level that God had placed you or intend to place you. The devil will not tempt you in order to prove your God right but he will do everything in, with and to you in order to prove your God wrong in that situation you are facing; Satan will provoke you to be angry with your God, with yourself, with your family, with your business, with your neighbors, with your profession, with your locality and with your nation, all he wants is to make you mad and angry with everyone, everywhere and with everything around you to the extent that things will stop working for you. It is your responsible to stand and prove your God right; it is your responsibility to tell Satan your God is right and he is wrong and a liar; it is your responsibility to tell Satan to get behind you; it is your duty to stand up against him with the word and with the blood of Jesus Christ; it is your responsibility to declare your victory through the victory of Jesus Christ at Calvary.

The secret of Job was nothing else but a strong and personal determination to stand with God when things were good and when things were bad; to stand in His love alone; to stand in His words alone and not his feelings and the words of men; to stand in His promises alone and not in his thoughts; to stand with God alone and not with men and to trust in Him alone and not on himself. A strong determination will definitely change your destiny and will change all things around your life and affect everything concerning you positively. Job survived the best and the worst time of his life through that determination. A strong determination to remain with God, to remain in God and to remain for God in all of the situations and in all of the temptations that the devil will throw at you will surely provoke God to do something that is very extraordinary in you and through you. Determination will provoke you to do things that others had not done; that people will never be able to do without determination and will enable you to stand through all the adversities in life and in living for God alone.

When Job heard of the Sabeans who attacked and took all his animals and killed his servants; when he heard about the fire that consumed the sheep and his servants; when he heard how the Chaldeans took away his camels and killed the servants; when he heard that his sons and daughters were killed as they were eating be a great wind, Job reacted differently: “Then Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head in mourning for the children, and he fell to the ground and worshiped God. He said, naked without possessions I came into this world from my mother’s womb, and naked I will return there. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord. Through all this Job did not sin nor did he blame God.” Job 1:20-21. Click here for prayer
