Did you know through covenants, God intends to reveal His secrets to you in a very private way? He intends to reveal that which will come soon, that will happen soon, how you and others with you will be saved, delivered, blessed, protected and kept active in Him; through covenants God intend to begin a new things in you, with you, and through you, separating you from all that had been before hen and taking you in a new and better realm of glory in the physical. Covenants are promised with cogent intents that will never fail, never be delayed and never be overtaken by events, by dreams, by evil manipulations or by wickedness including all the wicked agents from hell. Every covenant has its destiny either in hell or in heaven, with a blessing or a curse, with peace or unending sorrows and either with God or with the devil. Covenants involve an exchange of something in agreement for something bigger and far better. It will always take at least two people to enter into a covenant, but it will require many to make it active and it will bless many at the end of its fulfillment and effectiveness. Some covenants are temporal while others are everlasting. Every covenant entered between one person and another is temporal, between man and the devil is also temporal because they can be broken by the word of God and the blood of Jesus Christ. The covenant with Noah was temporal while that of Abraham was everlasting and it resulted in the covenant of Christ Jesus.

This the words, the instruction, the commands and the promises from God as He seek to establish a covenant with Abraham. “Now in Haran the Lord had said to Abram, go away from your country, and from your relatives, and from your father’s house, to the land which I will show you; and I will make you a great nation, and I will bless you abundantly, and make your name great, exalted, distinguished; and you shall be a blessing, a source of great good to others; and I will bless, do good for, benefit those who bless you, and I will curse, that is, subject to My wrath and judgment the one who curses, despises, dishonors, has contempt for you. And in you all the families, nations of the earth will be blessed.” Genesis 12:1-3. The first requirement for Abram’s covenant to be effective was compliance with the given instructions just as it was for Noah and also for all of us today. Compliance is needed not complains, God sees the situations before He gives the instructions, He understands the situation and the circumstances you have found yourself before He requires compliance, and above all, He knows that the end will be far better before He opens it up to your hearing.

God saw what was going on in the days of Noah and Abraham, He knew what they did not know and had no perfect understanding of what to do and how their lives will end before He opens up the words of the covenant to them. let nothing, not even the situation, the circumstance, the dream killers, the frustrations, the wicked people close or afar off intimidate you when it comes to the requirement for the covenant to start. Noah was not intimidated by lack of cooperation, lack of money to buy the materials, lack of understanding of the people to understand the reason and purpose for the construction and He did not alow his own limited resources or strength be a hindrance. Likewise Abraham, he did not seek understanding of his obedience even from his father, relatives and immediate family, he did not allow the fear of losing inherited land from his ancestors, the wealth he will inherit from his father’s properties, the relative he will leave behind or the suffering he will experience be a hindrance. They both knew the blessings of the covenant will outclass whatever they have left and will leave behind in obedience.

“Whatever things were gains to me as I thought then, these things regarded as advancements I have come to consider as loss for the sake of Christ. I count everything as loss compared to the priceless privilege of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For His sake I have lost everything, and I consider it all garbage, so that I may gain Christ.” Philippians 3:7-8. Prayer Request Click here
