DAVID’S ANOINTING WAS RECOMMENDED

In all situations, in all locations, irrespective of your name, profession, age, and race, God is not without a plan for you even when we don’t have one for yourself or don’t know any of His plans concerning you now or in the future. The God we serve is never left in the dark and never behind in His activities for His children, for those, He had called and chosen to be His despite what men in their powers will do to and against you. God's plans will work for you even when people have abandoned, or forgotten, or insulted, or frustrated, or abused, or put you to an open shame in ways that are beyond your imaginations. Your tears are not a result of God’s weakness in any of your matter but a result of your own feelings about yourself and your situation.

The Lord says, even right now, even in your present situation and location, He has His plans; His plans will not fail Him neither will they fail you; His plans will bring forth His best in you and for your life; His plans will relocate you; His plans will definitely take you to the place He has destined irrespective of the evil surrounding you, your family, and affecting your health, job, and profession and the things adversely affecting you. His plan when fully functional, will take you above your dreams, and far above the best efforts of your past, your skills, and the very help any man can or will ever give to you. “I say this because I know the plans that I have for you.” This message is from the Lord. I have good plans for you. I don’t plan to hurt you. I plan to give you hope and a good future.” Jeremiah 29:11. What assurance and hope we have in His word and what a joyful day and year we look ahead as we wait absolute and believe in Him.

By God’s plans for your life, it is very certain that despite the difficulties in your life and in your current location, no man will take the place that God had destined for you. You will get out from where you are, you will reach where He had prepared for you. God will not fail in His plans and in His recommendation and it is true you will not fail when God recommends to lift you up, to give you a promotion, a position, a family, to elevate you to a higher office, a higher position, renew your location and deliver you from all forms of adversities in life.

David was highly gifted and talented in music but he was short up in the forest feeding and caring for the sheep with no hope of ever benefiting from those talents, but one thing was very certain, despite his location, despite the none appreciation from those sheep, he never stop using the talent and gift he has. When you don’t give up because of adversity and location; when you don’t give up because of frustration and insults; when you don’t give up because of past failures and disappointment, God will one day open the day for your recognition and He will give the grace to receive a recommendation that will honor you and bring you to the place of joy. That was what David did. Unknown to David, God was looking for a man to replace Saul; Samuel knew that God was looking for a man, but Samuel never knew that a boy called David existed, that he was capable, and that God has a plan for him despite his location.

While Samuel was crying for Israel and waiting on God’s next move, and Saul was still on the throne of power, God spoke to Samuel concerning the situation in Israel and the next king. God spoke clearly to Samuel recommending David to be anointed with the promise that his location and position will be changed and He will be what He had destined. God said to them; “But now your kingdom shall not continue. The Lord has sought for Himself a man after His own heart, and the Lord has commanded him to be commander over His people because you have not kept what the Lord commanded you. And afterward, they asked for a king, so God gave them Saul the son of Kish, a man of the tribe of Benjamin for forty years. And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.” 1 Samuel 13:14; Acts 13:21-22.
