I AM SET FOR HONORS

As a born again Christian, redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus from the works of the powers of darkness, from the grips of Satan, and from the destruction of your body, soul and spirit; through your salvation, God had deliberately set you apart to receive better honors in this life and nothing will stop you from doing that because Christ Jesus had completed all that is required to get you the honors on the cross long before you were born. The devil cannot deny the facts at the cross, he cannot ignore the power of the blood of Jesus Christ working in and for you in perfecting the will of God, and he cannot forget the reason for the resurrection.

God had set you apart to receive both heavenly and earthly honors in abundance and they must surely come because delays cannot in any way stop your God; frustrations cannot prevent Him, and mountains cannot hinder the path He had designed for you to take. God had set you apart for something good and excellent and the devil will not stop you, God had set you apart to break forth to the north, south, east and west; to have a solid foundation, to bear fruits, to have an increase and to be relevant in His eyes and in the eyes of men around the world.

Things may be hard presently with you, but you will definitely prevail; people may be difficult to deal with, but God will make away for you; your location may be though for your comfort, your business may be small, dull and uninteresting, but by God’s grace, you will have a breakthrough, you will have success and you will receive the honors that is due you. When God sets a person up for good, no one and absolutely nothing will set that person down.

As God had destined you to receive honors, no trouble, even when they come in their numbers from all directions daily; no calamity, even when they have overtaken others; no persecution in any form from any one, irrespective of their severity; no hungry, even when the surrounding had been overtaken by it; no destitute, even when everyone and everything departs; no danger, even from the gathering of your most powerful enemies; no threat of death, even from the most severe diseases in town; no threat of poverty, even when you have no job for years; no sickness whether diagnosed by a physician or not; no angel from heaven; no demon from hell; no power and no authority within any government and place; no fears from what you hear and what you see daily; and no power of hell will ever stop you from receiving the honors that God had destined for you.

The devil may have succeeded to keep you single longer than necessary, but he will never stop you from getting married to whom the Lord had destined for you in life when the time comes; he may have succeeded to keep you childless after years of marriage, but he will not stop you from having children at the time appointed by God, he was unable to stop Sarah, Hannah, Elizabeth and many others. The devil may have succeeded to deprive you from many things, but he will not stop you from receiving the change and the honor God had destined for you, He was unable to stop Jabez despite being born into trouble and being named sorrow.

As God set you apart and destined you for the honors, set yourself also apart and be prepared for the expected glorious change. “But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also utensils of wood and earthenware, and some for honorable and noble use and some for menial and ignoble use. So whoever cleanses himself from what is ignoble and unclean, who separates himself from contact with contaminating and corrupting influences will then himself be a vessel set apart and useful for honorable and noble purposes, consecrated and profitable to the Master, fit and ready for any good work. Shun youthful lusts and flee from them, and aim at and pursue righteousness all that is virtuous and good, right living, conformity to the will of God in thought, word, and deed; and aim at and pursue faith, love, and peace, harmony and concord with others in fellowship with all Christians, who call upon the Lord out of a pure heart.  Romans 8:20-22.
