“I ASK FOR EARLY BLESSINGS, DEAR LORD”

Post date: Jan 7, 2019 1:06:43 AM

Irrespective of your situation, the location on earth and the occasion before you, when God says ask anything, you should know that He is about to do something that is even better than what you would ask if only you will be able to match His plans in your asking; He will do something that will amaze people who knew you before now and who are around you now; He is about to do something that men cannot do for you, and He is about to do things that only Him can ever do and take the glory. You should note that there is nothing limiting God from doing whatever He wants anywhere in the world and in the life of any individual without their asking, but when He says you should ask, He wants you to be part of the process and He wants to glorify Himself through you and in that situation. Our Lord Jesus Christ told His disciples to ask anything in His name with a commitment that He will do what they ask. That was not a challenge but an offer that was above every other offer they had ever had in life, that same opportunity, and an offer is also extended to us and every other believer today; it is now for us to take advantage of this offer and opportunity. This is one of the very best commitments from our Lord Jesus to you when you ask as He requested. “And I will do whatever you ask for in my name so that the Father's glory will be shown through the Son. If you ask me for anything in my name, I will do it.” John 14:13-14

Asking God for something in prayer is not an ordinary exercise, it is a spiritual exercise that has a great impact on the physical world and beyond. In Matthew 7:7, we are told again to ask with the assurance that we will receive. “Ask, and you will receive; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks will receive, and anyone who seeks will find, and the door will be opened to those who knock.” Everywhere we are commanded to ask God for something in the scriptures, He always responds in a great way. Prayers always produce amazing results despite the delays and the frustrations you will ever experience. God has absolute control over events in all seasons and at all times, He has absolute control over locations and situations, He can change whatever He wants to change and He can establish whatever He wants to establish. Our duty is to ask and His duty is to answer. Asking God for the latter rain now is asking for that which is beyond human imagination, that is what God wants us to do, ask God big things, ask Him that which is impossible and beyond you and watch Him do it for you.

It is in your asking that God begins revealing mysteries and confirming promises. Your asking triggers the key in heaven to begin releasing delayed blessings, enabling you to overcome frustrations and obstacles, taking you over and above that which hinders you. What are you going to ask for now? This is what to ask; “Ask the Lord for rain in the spring of the year. It is the Lord who sends rain clouds and showers, making the fields green for everyone. People consult idols and fortunetellers, but the answers they get are lies and nonsense. Some interpret dreams, but only mislead you; the comfort they give is useless. So the people wander about like lost sheep. They are in trouble because they have no leader. The Lord says I am angry with those foreigners who rule my people, and I am going to punish them. The people of Judah are mine, and I, the Lord Almighty, will take care of them. They will be my powerful war-horses. From among them will come rulers, leaders, and commanders to govern my people. The people of Judah will be victorious like soldiers who trample their enemies in the mud of the streets. They will fight because the Lord is with them, and they will defeat even the enemy cavalry. I will make the people of Judah strong; I will rescue the people of Israel. I will have compassion on them and bring them all back home. They will be as though I had never rejected them. I am the Lord their God; I will answer their prayers.” Zechariah 10:1-7. Prayer Request Click here
