REJOICE

“Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” Philippians 4:4-7

Rejoice, the battle had been fought, the victory had been secured, the bond had been broken and the shackles had been taken away forever.  We are called upon to rejoice not on certain occasion or intervals but always, irrespective of the prevailing circumstances.

There is every opportunity for you to rejoice, never allow adversity take over your joy and thoughts. Rejoice on the finished work on the cross; Rejoice for the resurrection of the lord; Rejoice for Christ victory of over dead and the grave on your behalf;

Rejoice that you have a God and a savior. Some people only have gods but not a savior.

Rejoice in His laws, in His character, in His promises, things you can stand on and make great stride everyday.

Rejoice because you have a God that do not change. If everything else changes, you Lord will not change, besides, He alone can change all things and all situations.

He is the source of an unending strength and victory. If every other source dries up, Hid source will not. Rejoice in His unfailing promises.

Your Lord, not another is the only true source where true happiness and real joy can only be found and you are already in Him. Don’t wait for the crumps that fall on the ground, go for that which is prepared for you on the table.

On the cross He said it is finished “When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, it is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost” John 19:30.  After resurrection He said all power had been given to me. Matthew 28:18

There is no other statement as powerful as these and they came from your God, no other god had said that. All power in heaven and on earth bows at his name; “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth” Philippians 2:10

There are numerous things to rejoice about in Christ, even in times of affliction, distress, confusion, denials and persecution. His grace will always be enough for you to rejoice. His blood was not shed in vain, it was for you, His peace overcomes all difficulties, His righteousness is everlasting, His love is unimaginable, and His comfort is unending.

Rejoice because eternal life is promised you. The unbelievers are suffering from unspoken and hidden fear of hell despite what they have.

Paul told the Philippians, let not your joy cease, rejoice always and repeated again rejoice.  Christians need to be called over and over again to rejoice, let not the weight of sorrow cause you to fall short in rejoicing

If you spend time to pray, if you spend time to drive, eat and drink, if you spend time to talk, if you spend time to cry, if you spend time to do anything even in the presence of any adversity, you can also spend time to rejoice in the face of adversity.

Rejoicing relieves and heals the heart and mind of wounds and pains of sorrow. Give sorrow over to the devil where it comes from and take on the mantle of rejoicing right now. It is your birthright in Christ Jesus. I urge you not to neglect the comfort of the finished work on the cross. Rejoice because Christ Jesus rose for you and is interceding and fighting for your ultimate victory. “Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. CHRIST IS RISEN INDEED
