“Alas, Lord God Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard or too wonderful for You. You Who show loving-kindness to thousands but recompense the iniquity of the fathers into the bosoms of their children after them. The great, the mighty God; the Lord of hosts is His name. Great are You in counsel and mighty in deeds, Whose eyes are open to all the ways of the sons of men, to reward or repay each one according to his ways and according to the fruit of his doings, Who wrought signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, and even to this day continues to do so, both in Israel and among other men, and made for Yourself a name, as at this day. And You brought forth Your people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs and wonders, with a strong hand and outstretched arm and with great terror; And You gave them this land which You swore to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey;” Jeremiah 32:17-22. If God had done all the above for Israel and others before, He will surely do the same for you and I as we cry Lord we need a landing place from our many troubles.

Let this be your cry today, Lord give me that which are truly mine, that which is permanent, a place of true rest from endless wondering, a place of true rest from toils and constant movement; I need a job that is permanent, I am tired of temporal appointments, temporal reliefs, temporal businesses, temporal comforts, temporal help and temporal joy; dear Lord, give me a landing place that will glorify Your name. I absolutely put my trust in You, my hope is all in You and in You alone. I am tired from my struggles for that which comforting, but I will keep on trusting You till I walk through open doors and receive the fullness of the manifestation of your promised blessings in my life.

Lord I need a place of rest, a place of comfort, a home, a blessing that will change me forever, a blessing that will make me what You said not what people say or what I feel, Lord take me far beyond just temporal daily relieves into the place that flows with milk and honey that had been destined for me in this life as it was for the children of Israel.

When God gave Abraham His words of promise, He also fulfilled them and testified to others of what He did for him, though Abraham lived in tents and did wondered seeking a place with a foundation, God did not disappoint him, because He is able to do all that He had said. When He confirmed the promised blessings on Isaac, He guided him to a place of comfort and testified of it to others; that same God also took Jacob from aimless wondering, from fear of his brother, from temporal dwellings, from constant reduction in wages and cheat from his slave master, and established in a place with an unmovable foundation saying “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” Exodus 3:6

Though Abraham was wondering from one forest to another, he was very hopeful that the words of God to Him will be fulfilled and God fulfill them. When Isaac experienced farming despite the promise of God to his father, he trusted the word of God to direct his steps and his path, and at the end, he was not disappointed. When Jacob ran away for the fear of his brother, he went into a life of uncertainty, but the promises of God were quite certain. When Jacob’s wages were reduced ten consecutive times and his services extended from seven to fourteen years, he relied on the word of God for the next step and God did not disappoint him.

I do not know how many times your wages had been reduced, your service days or year extended beyond limits with more sorrows, you have been wondering from one temporal place to another, from one temporal job to another. Today God will not disappoint you. He will give you that which had been destined for you as He did for other. . Click here for prayer request.
