The God you know and worship is better than the troubles you know and all the things you know will help you besides Jesus Christ. These men knew their troubles, knew their enemies, knew the pains of sufferings rejection, they knew the sorrow in waiting to die before their enemies, and they knew what was up against them in life, but they also knew that God can change all that they knew and had experienced and He change their situation and give them victory. Your pains and afflictions may have lasted longer than expected but all is about to change. The God who redeemed and call you to pray in the Name of Jesus Christ is also the same God who redeemed your soul from the hands of Satan, and redeemed your body and spirit from destruction, and gave you salvation which now restores you to a state of having a lively relationship with Him. When He calls you to pray, He has something to tell you; when He calls you to His side, He has something to give you; when He gives you instructions, He has something to do with your obedience. God will not ask you to pray if He has nothing for you.

Solomon knew his enemies were around waiting and watching for him to make a mistake and be dethroned, yet he went to God to ask for wisdom and not for his enemies God gave him. Jabaz saw his physical look; knew his life experience, and knew his parents were angry, and he knew he was very poor, yet he went to God in prayers to ask for blessings and enlargement and God in His love and power granted his entire request. Job knew all he had ever labored in life, his family, his home, his business, relationships, and his wealth had been destroyed, yet he never lost hope in God’s ability to rescue, restore, and bless him again, and he waited on God and God did rescue, restore, and bless him again. Daniel knew he was a prisoner, yet he trusted God to give him favor and He did. He also knew the lion’s den had been prepared for his demise, yet he prayed and trusted God to deliver him and He did. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego knew the furnace fire was prepared for them to die in it, they knew the people were waiting and watching and Nebuchadnezzar was giving the command, but they trusted to believe that God will deliver them and He did. Sarah knew she was old and passed the age of conception, yet God made it all possible for her to conceive and have a child. Hannah knew she was barren and her rival was making her shameful in that situation but she refused to remain shameful and accept that barrenness was her final destiny; she trusted and went to God with full confidence in prayer and God gave her seven more children besides Samuel. Be confident before God and pray; refuse to accept failure and refuse to believe that situation is your final destiny. God can, and He will change that situation.

Despite what Job saw, knew, and experienced, he made this declaration: “He has sent away my brothers and my friends. My relatives have failed me; my friends have all forsaken me. Those living in my home, even my servants, regard me as a stranger. I am like a foreigner to them. I call my servant, but he doesn’t come; I even beg him. My own wife and brothers refuse to recognize me. Even young children despise me. When I stand to speak, they mock. My best friends abhor me. Those I loved have turned against me. I am skin and bones and have escaped death by the skin of my teeth. Oh, my friends, pity me, for the angry hand of God has touched me. Why must you persecute me as God does? Why aren’t you satisfied with my anguish? Oh, that I could write my plea with an iron pen in the rock forever. But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives and that He will stand upon the earth at last. And I know that after this body has decayed, this body shall see God. Then He will be on my side. Yes, I shall see Him, not as a stranger, but as a friend. What a glorious hope. How dare you go on persecuting me, as though I were proven guilty? I warn you, you yourselves are in danger of punishment for your attitude.” Job 19:13-28. There is a guaranteed redemption and hope for you. For prayers, Click here
