"LORD, I HAVE NO DREAM, NO VISION, ONLY DESIRE (4)"

You do not need a dream or vision to know that you are suffering, that you need help, that you are not what you want and that you are behind in so many important things in life. Despite all efforts, you do not need a dream to know that you have failed, that your efforts are not working, that your result is far less than your labor and expectations, that your remuneration is far less than your worth and training and experience and qualification. You do not need a dream or a vision to know that you need a change and you need it very soon. You may have prayed and waited for result for too long; you may have visited doctors and spent all your money and income on bills without an expected result; you may have been asked to stop or shouted down by friends and families, you have stopped asking, praying and visiting physicians, and you may have been contemplating ending your desires, I want to ask today, do not give up on your desires even when you have stopped praying or visiting physicians, it is certain that your desire will one day meet an opportunity that you have been waiting for all these long. That was what happened to the blind man and to Zachariah the father of John the Baptist, in their desires after several years of prayers meet their opportunity and the result was amazingly good beyond expectation.

This bland had expected to have his eyes and his sights back but it was impossible until the day he heard that Jesus Christ was passing by him. To others, he asked for arms but when he meets Christ Jesus, he asked his desire. “Then they reached Jericho, and as Jesus and his disciples left town, a large crowd followed him. A blind beggar named Bartimaeus son of Timaeus was sitting beside the road. When Bartimaeus heard that Jesus of Nazareth was nearby, he began to shout, Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me. Be quiet, many of the people yelled at him. But he only shouted louder, Son of David, have mercy on me. When Jesus heard him, he stopped and said, tell him to come here. So they called the blind man. Cheer up, they said. Come on, He’s calling you. Bartimaeus threw aside his coat, jumped up, and came to Jesus. What do you want me to do for you? Jesus asked. My Rabbi, the blind man said, I want to see. And Jesus said to him, go, for your faith has healed you. Instantly the man could see, and he followed Jesus down the road.” Mark 10:46-52. The blind man had no dream, no vision but a desire and he said to Christ Jesus when he had the opportunity, my desire is to see while to others his desires were arms.

Your desire will meet an opportunity soon. There are thing you want to see happen in your life; they are things you want to feel in your body and in your family and in your finances; they are things you want to have as yours; there are things you want to experience practically and they are things you want to know about yourself, your family and your situation but after several efforts you are convinced you won't see them, you won't have them, you won't feel them, medical science cannot do them for you, the best of technology cannot make it happen as expected and no man is able to help you or make them as you expected, but you have not dropped your desires and your wish, I want to tell you today, that they of your opportunity is coming and that desire will be fulfilled in ways that will amaze you. With God all things are possible. “Then Jesus said to his disciples, “I tell you the truth, it is very hard for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. I’ll say it again; it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God. The disciples were astounded. Then who in the world can be saved? They asked. Jesus looked at them intently and said, humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible. Then Peter said to him, we’ve given up everything to follow you. What will we get? Jesus replied, I assure you that when the world is made new and the Son of Man sits upon his glorious throne, you who have been my followers will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.” Matthew 19:23-27.
