WHAT I MUST KNOW AS A CHRISTIAN

You may have spent considerable amount of time, days, even years and resources in searching your life if you can know why things are not going according to expectations in the dreams and visions and the desires from the promises of God to you; you may have been seeking to know what is keeping you back from fulfilment; what is hindering your progress even when you are giving your very best daily; what is holding your dreams and your visions and your desires in captivity all these years despite doing your very best in following God’s principles in the scriptures; keeping to His words and ways, and trusting in His ability to do even as He had said in His promises to do the impossible?

It is true that you can’t see why things are not moving in the right direction in your life, but I can tell you know you are closer to your God every new day, and that keeps you in the advantage that the expectations in His words and promises will definitely be fulfilled. Knowing God, knowing His ability and trusting in His ability will always keep you ahead in all things; will keep you lively in your expectations despite the odds; will keep you stronger in faith till the very end; will keep you alert in case of wrong doings and evil attacks; and will also keep you hopeful for the very best irrespective of the situation on hand.

The greatest trouble we will ever have in life are not in the situations we see every day, but the lack of understanding of whatever trouble we are going through in that situation. This lack in our understanding is even more painful than the troubled situations and this is why we sink deeper into pains, confusion, worries, frustrations and despair. The lack of proper understanding makes us blind to many other things around our situations; but even in that lack, the resulting confusion, the painful frustrations and the uncertainties, we are told in the scriptures not to rely on our own understanding; on our own wisdom and on our own vision; but to completely surrender and rely on the unfailing understanding of our God; the perfect wisdom of our God and the ever unfailing and ending ability of our God to make a way even in our deepest darkest hours in life.

Because you do not understand what is going on in your life after all the prayers and trust, you may never see how you will get out of the problems in your situation, but despite your inability to see, you must know that God will make a way for you even in that same situation so you will have victory, peace, joy and also glorify His Holy name among men on earth. This is because our God knows the beginning and He knows the ending, all you need do is to lean on, to stand on, and to trust on His understanding and His ability to direct your life and change your situation; these are things that God will do and accomplish in your life.

Trusting God is not counting days for yourself or for Him; it is submitting your heart, your thoughts, your imaginations and your very best to Him in all things. “My child, never forget the things I have taught you. Store my commands in your heart. If you do this, you will live many years, and your life will be satisfying. Never let loyalty and kindness leave you. Tie them around your neck as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart. Then you will find favor with both God and people, and you will earn a good reputation. Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil. Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones. Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine. My child, don’t reject the Lord’s discipline, and don’t be upset when he corrects you. For the Lord corrects those he loves, just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights.” Proverbs 3:1-12. For prayers, Click here For 3 hours of Praise and worship songs Click Here
