THE GOD WHO WATCHES OVER HIS CHILDREN

“I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go.” Genesis 28:15. You may be having conflicts with certain individuals and do not know how such conflict came by, how it actually began and when it will end; while you trust God for everything and going about your life, God will act on your behalf; you may not have all the understanding or knowledge of all the weapons they are using against you; you may not have what it takes to fully engage back; even when you know, you may not be bold enough to fight or stupid enough to use their weapons. What a wise person will do is use a better and more effective weapon; thanks be to our God for giving us the knowledge of how to use better weapons and the grace to use them effectively in our prayers; I am glad that there are no weapons that our God does not have authority over and cannot give you the victory you deserve when you call on Him in your prayer time as His child.

We are told in the Holy Scriptures that the weapons of our warfare are not canal but mighty through God to pull down strong holds and destroy spiritual and physical foundations which are seeking to destroy or keep us back. One of such weapons is the chariots of fire to stand with and for us, to defend us, to consume those that seek to destroy or consume us.

Because of what you have seen, what you have known, what you have heard, and all the hard life experiences so far, you think your enemies are more in number; that they are better equipped, well trained and capable in carrying out their plans against you; but contrary to your thinking, and the best of all your knowledge, though they are more in number, better trained to handle their wicked weapons; though they are capable of doing what they have conspired against you; though their weapons are great and mighty; but though they are more in number standing to battle you, though they can unsettle you, and though they can derail your dreams by fighting you from every front and from every angle, the Almighty God will stand to defend you against them; He will not in any way give up anything that He had already given to you to your enemies; He will definitely deliver you from the things you know and the ones you do not know; God will stand to ensure that they will never consume you and will never drawn you.

Though your enemies are stronger and well connected than you in every area, their strength and all their connections is nothing before our God. Our God is still in absolute control of your life; He is responsible for your safety and your deliverance; He will not give you up to their plans and desires; though your enemies are many and are everywhere you ever went, there are places they will never be successful in operating in and from, and will never be able to take control of such a place, and that place is the very place that God had destined for you and Had told you of. This is so because God Himself will go before you to that place; He will go well ahead of you to prepare the place for you; He will sanitize the place for you; He will empower you with all you will ever need to get there; He will stand all along the way to encourage you spiritually and physically; He will give you the motivation you need; He will give you every strength needed to sustain you in that desire, ensuring that you do not slip as you take the step of faith and even when you slip, He will raise you up to continue even in the presence of your enemies.

God will ensure He takes you to the place of His desired destination even when the enemies had vowed never to see you reach the place; He will ensure that even when you are wounded, you will never be defeated; even when you are disappointed, discouraged and frustrated in every step you take, He will ensure you succeed at the end and celebrate the success. Our God is not folding His arms to watch you follow Him while your enemies are beating you from every side: He is not keeping sealed lips while watching your enemies bite, devour and hinder you.
