“EXCEPT HELP COMES FROM OUR GOD (01)”

Post date: Nov 22, 2016 12:53:39 AM

There is no one who can survive without the help of God; none can make it right always and also sustain those right things without God’s help; it is certain that none can preserve his or her life on earth, that of the children and family members or survive in a venture without help from God. It is sweet to receive help from Him, it is joyful to experience His help and it is assuring to know that help is working strong and bringing new things into your life and is affecting you positively in ways you cannot explain and cannot comprehend. God’s help is very necessary, it is needed in time of our full consciousness and in our unconsciousness moments; it is needed when we need it and when we think we do not need it. The help we receive from God keeps us from being victims of evil plots of the devil; keeps us from being destroyed by the many evils in the nights and in the days; it keeps us from year to year, and it keeps us from participating in many evils also. It is not as a result of our strength, knowledge, and wealth that we are still living, it is because God is there helping us and giving us what we truly need to have live and live for Him as expected.

Money has advantages, but the advantage of having money cannot in any way replace the values we receive from God’ help. Being a Christian has many advantages, but those advantages we receive from God cannot replace the help we have from Him. Knowledge has its advantage, but it cannot replace the help we receive from God. Faithfulness, obedience, humbleness and the virtues of Godliness had numerous advantages but despite all the advantages, we cannot survive without the help of God in our lives. Education, high profile profession and positions and better locations have their advantages, but they cannot replace the help we receive from God. His help in all ways and in all things and in all location, in all professions and in all of our situations will definitely cause us to triumph and make a remarkable difference in our lives and the lives of all others watching us, working and living with us.

There are many things we would never be able to do in life despite all our knowledge, obedience, and faithfulness to God and man, dedication to duty, holiness, wisdom, profession, wealth, grace, position occupied in government or in a private sector, where we are located, and our various abilities in life. There are also things that men in their wealth and position will never be able to do for us or we will be able to do for others except God sends help. Many would not be living today if not for the help of God and many would never have had the opportunity they have today without God helping them. Whether we acknowledge it or not, God is our help in everything and He is still helping us today and will continue to help us forever. Job was a man of distinction; he served and fears God, blameless, upright, abstained from evil and turns back from participated in evil, yet if God did not help Job through the hedge He made, those exceptional characters would not prevent Satan from desiring to test and destroy him. It was the help he received from God.

“Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan, the adversary, accuser also came among them. The Lord said to Satan, from where have you come? Then Satan answered the Lord, from roaming around on the earth and from walking around on it. The Lord said to Satan, have you considered and reflected on My servant Job? For there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God with reverence and abstains from and turns away from evil because he honors God. Then Satan answered the Lord, does Job fear God for nothing? Have You not put a hedge of protection around him and his house and all that he has, on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands and conferred prosperity and happiness upon him, and his possessions have increased in the land. But put forth Your hand now and touch, destroy all that he has, and he will surely curse You to Your face. Then the Lord said to Satan, behold, all that Job has is in your power, only do not put your hand on the man himself.” Job 1:6-12. Oh Lord, send help. For Prayers Click here
