LORD, YOU WILL REWARD MY LITTLE FAITH

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego thought they had a little faith to show to Nebuchadnezzar by standing against his golden image; by that same little faith, they refused to express any form of fear when threaten with the furnace of fire which temperature had been raised seven times over what was the usual or normal; by that same little faith they refused to express any form of fear to the words and commands of Nebuchadnezzar, they refused to settle otherwise and refused to negotiate their safety and freedom from the consequences of the words of Nebuchadnezzar; by that same little faith they decided to stand on the words and promises of God instead of their thoughts even when such actions will cost them their lives; but at the end of all things, that same little faith spoke volumes for them and did something great in their lives; it immortalized their names in divine and physical books of history; proved that their God will always be faithful despite the situation, He alone is the Almighty God and that same little faith brought them a promotion they never negotiated for and never thought will come.

You may be thinking your faith is too little or small to impact you and your current situation or to bring a memorable reward to you, but such thoughts are inappropriate as a child of the living God to maintain, it is also incorrect, and a lie from hell and from your enemies who do not want to see you make progress beyond where you are right now. You may be thinking and saying your little faith is too insignificant, cannot change you or change your life. That little faith can produce great miracle you never expected or pray for; it can change your life forever for good; it can write your name in gold; can defend your life against the fires from your enemies; can immortalize you and position you in a place that dreams, visions and your best desires will or can never take you in life. That little small faith can promote you as it did promote the three Hebrew brothers. God is taking note of your faith and faithfulness and dedication and commitments in your Christian journey and will definitely reward you in an amazing way far beyond your dreams and desires in life.

“Nebuchadnezzar was so furious with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego that his face became distorted with rage. He commanded that the furnace be heated seven times hotter than usual. Then he ordered some of the strongest men of his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and throw them into the blazing furnace. So they tied them up and threw them into the furnace, fully dressed in their pants, turbans, robes, and other garments. And because the king, in his anger, had demanded such a hot fire in the furnace, the flames killed the soldiers as they threw the three men in. So Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, securely tied, fell into the roaring flames. But suddenly, Nebuchadnezzar jumped up in amazement and exclaimed to his advisers, didn’t we tie up three men and throw them into the furnace? Yes, your Majesty, we certainly did, they replied. Look. Nebuchadnezzar shouted. I see four men, unbound, walking around in the fire unharmed. And the fourth looks like a god. Then Nebuchadnezzar came as close as he could to the door of the flaming furnace and shouted: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come out! Come here. So Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego stepped out of the fire. Then the high officers, officials, governors, and advisers crowded around them and saw that the fire had not touched them. Not a hair on their heads was singed, and their clothing was not scorched. They didn’t even smell of smoke. Then Nebuchadnezzar said, Praise to the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. He sent his angel to rescue his servants who trusted in him. They defied the king’s command and were willing to die rather than serve or worship any god except their own God. Therefore, I make this decree: If any people, whatever their race or nation or language, speak a word against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, they will be torn limb from limb, and their houses will be turned into heaps of rubble. There is no other god who can rescue like this. Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to even higher positions in the province of Babylon.” Daniel 2:19-30.
