AND THEY MADE IT AS GOD HAD SAID

The children of Israel made it to the Promised Land though it was not easy by any perceived human standard and measurement. They made it to the Promised Land though it was rough for them throughout the years. They made it to the Promised Land though to it took them longer than they had anticipated before that day. They made it to the Promised Land though seven strong and well equipped nations stood on their way to hinder and fought to stop them. They made it to the Promised Land though they encountered the Red Sea, unpaved paths and River Jordan on their way. They made it to the Promised Land though they murmured for enough lack of water and food through the journey. They made it to the Promised Land though they did not take extra clothing to change as the years went by. They made it to the Promised Land though they did not have money enough to sustain their basic needs throughout the years. They made it to the Promised Land though killer serpents came up to bite some of them in the wilderness. They made it to the Promised Land though they spent many years wondering around just one particular mountain. They made it to the Promised Land though they had difficulties crossing River Jordan when they got to it. They made it to the Promised Land though Pharaoh initially refused to support their departure. They made it to the Promised Land though Pharaoh sent his armies after them with the only intent of bringing them back to remain in captivity in the land of Egypt. They made it to the Promised Land though forty days later turned to forty years. They made it to the Promised Land though Moses break the first tablet of the ten commandment due to anger against what Aaron was doing in the camp with the children of Israel. They made it to the Promised Land though the wall of Jericho was fortified to resist every effort by people trying to enter or break through. They made it to the Promised Land though Balaam and Balak conspired to place a hindering curse on them. They made it to the Promised Land though Moses had no clear path to follow before departing but only believing the word of God. They made it to the Promised Land though giants were on the way to cause fear, panic, frustration, discouragement, self-pity, anger, and kill their joy and expectations of the future as promised by God.

Before Moses confronted Pharaoh to release the children of Israel, he clearly heard the voice of God speaking to him. Before he told the children of God what God was about to do, he received a personal assurance from God, and when Pharaoh refused to accept his words, he never gave up on God and never gave up on the expectations. Before all the children of Israel left Egypt that faithful day, they gladly accepted the words of Moses; they remembered all the words of God to Abraham their father and they kept faith in the promise, and throughout all their pains in the wilderness, they never lost the vision of their expectation and trust in their God.

God will never give you false hope; He will never give you false dreams; He will never give you false assurance; and He will never give you any reason to have false expectations. Every word of God you believe and hold onto will give you liberation and freedom from things that hold you down and keep you back; every word of God you follow diligently with your whole heart will surely lead you to a destination that is in consonance with that words you follow. The words of God will not lead your steps to strange places that you will receive endless afflictions of your soul; the dreams from God you diligently follow will never lead you to destruction; and every obedience to God’s instruction with your whole heart, with your whole strength, and with everything about your life will never result in your being disgraced at the end even when you suffer delays and disappointments; God’s words and promises are with full assurance and are destined to be fulfilled despite the odds that will rise up to challenge you, to frighten you, to discourage you and to cause doubts in your heart.
