Your waiting time will soon end, it was not meant to be indefinite; your eyes will see His glory and the things He can and will do; your hands will gladly handle them; your tears will end and your season of rejoicing will last longer than expected. The God who can do miracles by His power and by his words will not fail you; the miracles you have been expecting will come, the miracles you never thought will ever happen to a person like you will happen; what He had destined for you will definitely come. You were made to fulfill a purpose and you have been kept alive for that purpose to be fulfilled. The Almighty God who has all the resources to fulfill His words is your God. He did not save you in vain, He did not preserve you in vain and you will not trust and worship Him in vain. Even from unlike sources, He will fulfill His words and you will see it, you will receive it and you will rejoice in it. So many things may have failed in your life, career, job, home, marriage, and profession, but one thing is very certain, despite all the failures you know and can remember, God’s words for you and His promises will never fail.

The doubts of others will not stop you from seeing what God had said, seeing the new things He is doing and enjoying the fullness of the promises He had given to you. The wickedness of the wicked even in their places of authority will not over take the goodness that you will receive in this life from your God who is the controller of events and things. Not until you see what God had said and promised; not until you fully received the promise physically; not until you live to enjoy this new and extraordinary experience of His grace and goodness, you will not be taken away from where God had placed you and no one will be able to remove or kill you. Never give up on your expectations from Him, He will not fail, His words will not fail, His plans will not fail, His ways are good and very perfect. God may decide to take you through the rough roads of life, but one thing is very certain, He will not leave you there alone and He will not allow the devil to take control of you. God has a living and unfailing covenant with you through the blood of Jesus Christ which is made effective through your salvation. God will not promise without doing; He will not keep you hopeful indefinitely without fulfilling what He said and He will not lead you if He will not give you the victory you rightly deserve as His child.

“The king got out of bed in the middle of the night and told his officers, I know what has happened. The Arameans know we are starving, so they have left their camp and have hidden in the fields. They are expecting us to leave the city, and then they will take us alive and capture the city. One of his officers replied we had better send out scouts to check into this. Let them take five of the remaining horses. If something happens to them, it will be no worse than if they stay here and die with the rest of us. So two chariots with horses were prepared, and the king sent scouts to see what had happened to the Aramean army. They went all the way to the Jordan River, following a trail of clothing and equipment that the Arameans had thrown away in their mad rush to escape. The scouts returned and told the king about it. Then the people of Samaria rushed out and plundered the Aramean camp. So it was true that six quarts of choice flour were sold that day for one piece of silver, and twelve quarts of barley grain were sold for one piece of silver, just as the Lord had promised. The king appointed his officer to control the traffic at the gate, but he was knocked down and trampled to death as the people rushed out. So everything happened exactly as the man of God had predicted when the king came to his house. The man of God had said to the king, by this time tomorrow in the markets of Samaria, six quarts of choice flour will cost one piece of silver, and twelve quarts of barley grain will cost one piece of silver. The king’s officer had replied, that couldn’t happen even if the Lord opened the windows of heaven. And the man of God had said, you will see it happen with your own eyes, but you won’t be able to eat any of it. And so it was, for the people trampled him to death at the gate. 2 Kings 7:12-20.
