IS THIS GOD’S WILL FOR ME?

You may be single when you supposed to be engaged and married; lonely and sad when you are supposed to be surrounded by lovely children and people; you may be barren or bereaved, but that is not the will of God for you; you may be divorced and living alone, but that is not God’s will for you; you may have been jobless and lost all hope of having one soon, but that also is not the will of God for you. None of the burdens that enslave your happiness and joy is the will of God for your life and none will ever remain His will in you. God requires that you always rejoice in His love, rejoice in His plans, and rejoice in His purpose while trusting, looking forward to and walking in His will. Whatever you are experiencing right now which is never God’s will for your life, besides God giving you the deserved victory, He will you to discover His true will for your life.

You may be having some unknown illnesses or have been sick so often over the past years, but remaining sick is never the will of God for you; the real plan of God for you is to be healed, and to be in good health and remain healthy all through the seasons of the year; that sickness is not designed to kill or destroy you, it is not designed to frustrate your desires, and it is not designed to put you to shame; it may after all lead you to discovering the full will of God for your life, discover the deeper love of God for your life, discover that God has a health plan designed to be fulfilled in your life and generation.

You may be very poor right now, but you will not remain that way forever; you may be in real need right now, but your needs are not impossible before God; you may be heavily indebted to people and organizations, but despite the debt loads on you and your immediate family, none of them is the perfect will of God for your life as a Christian. God can walk through all situations in human lives to reveal Himself; it is His will that you be free from burdens, shame and the sadness of poverty, needs and indebtedness.

One mistake that Christians often make is the assumption that the will of God should always be very easy and simple to follow; it should be easy to understand, communicate, adapt, and mild to the flesh. But the bible said, the flesh is always at war with the spirit, and this war is never over until one defeats the other. Christians should know that God will first appeal to our spirit in every circumstance before seeking our flesh to accept it and before His divine plans will begin to unfold itself in our flesh in the physical. The human flesh, thoughts, desires and dreams will always be at war with the divine will and plans of God for us. Not until we deliberately submit our flesh and will to follow the dictates of the spirit of the living God, we will never be able in any way to know, to understand, to accept, to follow and to manifest the will of God.

Despites that pains of having to submit oneself to follow God’s will in this present world; despite the seeming foolishness of abandoning your strong, convincing and proven will; leaving your desires, dreams and your very best to follow God’s will in this increasing godless world; despite all the pressures from friends, family and associates never to turn back on your dreams and visions, not to neglect their wise and best counsel to you for the will of God; despite their urge and humble persuasions to follow their thoughts, ways and plans, it will always pay you more to follow the will of God for your life at the end.

It might be tough right now with you; you may be struggling hard and wondering why, but my God is overturning that tough, struggling and wondering situation around and will bring to pass His will for your life. “But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing: that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:8-9.
