JUST BEFORE YOU SOW A SEED

“While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.” Genesis 8:22. That is the absolute word of the Almighty God and it is His unchangeable law to everyone in all locations under the sun and in all generations. Nothing can change it, nothing can be taken or added to it, and it is applicable to everyone who will walk in the laid down principle to reap the benefits.

One of the greatest means of busting into the realm of abundance and extraordinary increase in life and in everything else you will ever do is in sowing the right seed, what is needed to be sown, at the right time and in the right place. Such sowing depends on you, what your heart tells you when you agree with what God tells you that moment. God only increases what you sow today, not what you have leftover and stored up for yourself tomorrow. What you sow is definitely not what you receives, you actually receive more and running over, that is an increase as a result of what you have sowed.

Gifts are good, but it always come from the abundance of what is at hand and what is leftover, but seeds are better because it is done out of a future expectation even in times of necessity and out of a sacrifice. Behind every seed is a high expectation from a prepared mind and willingness to offer the needed sacrifice for the day and time of harvest. Seed is a sacrifice because it leaves your hands and the result is dependent on God’s response alone. Your gift enables others to have an increase, but the seed you sow enables you to harvest an increase, and always, there are greater joy and greater expectations when the day of harvest comes.

While you continue to give gifts, also continue to sow seeds, make sure you deliberately and actually sow good seeds, and I will advise, always let your seed be greater than your gifts, it is the seeds you sow that affects the harvest that you will have. It is good to note that seeds do not die even when they decay, that is the route it is required to take before bringing in the expected increase. Do not feel frustrated when the process is delayed, when it is prolonged and when the soil seems unfavorable, when God ask you to sow, do it and He will bring the increase irrespective of the physical condition in the place.

Before you sow, spend time with God to know what seed to sow, seek His words and purpose for your life as you prepare to sow, and seek the right seed, the right place and the right time. Know that sowing time is different from harvest time. A wrong timing will cause a delay in the time of harvest. Before you sow your seeds, listen to what God is saying, listen to His demands, and seek to follow them. Sow with joy and expectation, know that it is God who will bring the increase and preserve you till the day and time of harvest. Do not sow in anger or in frustration.

“Do not be deceived and deluded and misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at, scorned, disdained, or mocked by mere pretensions or professions, or by His precepts being set aside. He inevitably deludes himself who attempts to delude God. For whatever a man sows that and that only is what he will reap. For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap decay and ruin and destruction, but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint. So then, as occasion and opportunity open up to us, let us do good to all people, not only being useful or profitable to them, but also doing what is for their spiritual good and advantage. Be mindful to be a blessing, especially to those of the household of faith those who belong to God’s family with you, the believers.” Galatians 6:7-10.  For prayers Click here
