“MY DAY OF RESTORED FORTUNE”

Post date: Oct 13, 2015 10:57:28 PM

Irrespective of the situation at hand, the words of men, the cries in the eyes and the pains in the heart; despite all the waste and losses you may have suffered in life as a Christian, definitely there will come a time, a season, a month and a year of total restoration for the righteous of all that they have ever lost while struggling to maintain their righteousness before God and man in their words, actions and daily activities. There will surely be a moment, a time, a day, a season and a year that things will definitely change for good; that situations will turn around for good and not as they use to be; there will be a season of refreshment, renewal, unstoppable joy and restoration. That season is coming for you, that month will not elude you and you will never miss that moment of visitation and change from our Lord God Almighty

You may have one time or the other think or you may have heard the phrase from people around “why should the righteous suffer like the unrighteous or why should bad things happen to good people or is God still alive as He said?” believer should settle it in their heart and should get their thoughts right that though the righteous may suffer in many ways, God will not forsake them, they may be afflicted and mistreated, but God is still active in their lives and will not allow men or their past, their ancestral or their current situations have any reason to destroy them beyond what He can use again; believers should know righteousness is a defense against evil and sin, it is a defense against falling out of favor with God even when men refuses to agree with you. We should know that it is profitable to be righteous in the eyes of God than to be good in the eyes of men. It is more rewarding to be righteous and to maintain that righteousness before God than to be good and acceptable by men and to receive rewards of such goodness from men.

The righteous are not exonerated from cries and from pains but despite that, they are protected by the Almighty God from being destroyed by those things as was the case of Job who lost his entire family, all of his business, all of his wealth and investments, his wife and all his children; he was constantly accused by his best friends who came to console him of things he never did and sins he never committed; he was severely sick and homeless for years, yet in all of his pains, cries and loneliness, God did not allow any of the things he suffered to destroy him because God had given His word concerning him; also Job did not allow those things he went through and what his friends said to him to destroy his faith in God and did not allow his friends to destroy his thoughts and believe in the Almighty God. There is a word from God concerning your life which you do not know about like Job who never knew that God had commanded the devil concerning him.

Jacob is our other example; persistent drought and hunger took him to Egypt not knowing that God had prepared one of his sons whom he thought was long dead to help make his move less painful and rewarding. Did you know that God had prepared a place for you even at a time and in a place you never know? He had prepared a place for your restoration, a place for your rest, a place for you joy, a place for your relocation, a place for your acceptance, a place for your confirmation, a place for your establishment, and a place where your strength, talent, gift, beauty, character, humility, smile, knowledge and ability will be appreciated, accepted, recognize and very useful; a place where you will purposely give thanks to God and celebrate your life. “Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world. And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. To him be the dominion forever and ever. Amen.” 1 Peter 5:6-11. For prayers, Click here
