Beliefs are powerful and they can change lives; they have the power to change, preserve, deliver and give a future. What you believe and rely on daily is powerful enough to affect your whole life. You have believed in Jesus Christ as your Lord, that is enough to begin a change; you have believed in His mission that is enough to give you a hope; you have believed in His purpose on earth, that is enough to give you all the assurance you will ever need; you have believed every word He ever was spoken, that is enough to give you a definite direction; you have believed His dead on the cross, that is enough to give you victory over sin and condemnation; you have believed His resurrection, that is enough to give you every assurance you will need for a changed; because you have believed, you will be made fruitful and will have the grace to receive and enjoy a new life. God is able to bring back to life everything that is dead in your life; you have believed His ascension, that He is sitting on the right hand of the Father Almighty interceding for us, that is enough to assure you that your interest is being represented and protected in heaven, that your purpose and mission on earth will be possible through His prayers. All that you will need to defeat doubt, fear, lack, loneliness, frustration, disappointment and lack of direction in life is to believe the word of God. All of His spoken words, not some will definitely be fulfilled; all of His written words, not some, will surely be fulfilled and every of His revealed word will be fulfilled and nothing will stop them and not one will ever fail to accomplish their mission.

The words of God you believe and hold dear to your heart, meditating and acting on them every moment of the day will definitely bring you out of every darkness, set you free from every chain and afflictions, make you fruitful and progressive, and give you the assurance of hope and trust in the future. It was belief and appropriate action in the word that he heard that change Abraham forever for good. It was the belief that saved Noah, delivers him, and blessed him; it was belief that protected, preserved and rewarded Job. It is on record that before the flood, Noah heard the word of God, believed the words he heard and acted on all of the instructions he heard. In listening to the voice of God, Noah heard that there will be rain and there will be a flood that will destroy men on earth; in believing the words Noah received clear instructions to build an ark that will enable him  to survive the coming flood while others were laughing; in following those words, Noah received all provisions to build the ark and he succeeded in building it exactly as God had said and wanted it to be. In believing the word, Noah went out to warn the people about their lifestyle, their action to the things, ways of God, anger of God and His intent if they refuse to repent; in warning and seeking their repentance, Noah became and was called a preacher of righteousness in his days on earth; and in believing, Noah and his family survived the flood.

“And God remembered and thought kindly of Noah and every living thing and all the animals that were with him in the ark, and God made a wind blow over the land, and the waters receded. Also, the fountains of the deep and the windows of the heavens were closed, the rain from the sky was restrained, and the waters receded steadily from the earth. At the end of a hundred and fifty days, the waters had diminished. On the seventeenth day of the seventh month, the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat. The waters continued to decrease until the tenth month; on the first day of the tenth month, the tops of the mountains were seen. And Noah built an altar to the Lord, and took of every ceremonially clean animal and of every clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar. The Lord smelled the pleasing aroma and the Lord said to Himself, I will never again curse the ground because of man, for the intent of man’s heart is wicked from his youth; and I will never again destroy every living thing, as I have done. While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, winter and summer, and day and night Shall not cease.” Genesis 8:1-5; 20-22. For prayers Click here
