“Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, who rely on horses, who trust in the multitude of their chariots and in the great strength of their horsemen, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel, or seek help from the Lord. Yet He too is wise and can bring disaster; He does not take back his words. He will rise up against that wicked nation, against those who help evildoers. But the Egyptians are mere mortals and not God; their horses are flesh and not spirit. When the Lord stretches out His hand, those who help will stumble, those who are helped will fall, all will perish together.” Isaiah 31:1-3. The strength of men will fail them in times of need, but God’s words, God’s plans, and God’s work in you will not fail. The wealth of men will fail in times of trouble, but the word of God will remain the same even in times of trouble and His promises will be fulfilled in the lives of those who put their trust in Him. God does not change. He will not take back the words He had spoken concerning you irrespective of the activities of men against you.

When God allows a thing, it does not mean He has changed His mind or His plans. It does not mean He is no more in control of the situation in your life and it does not He had abandoned you. By His grace, you will pass every test, you will overcome every trial, you will survive every attack. God is with you and He will establish you where He had promised. Though God allowed Joseph to be sold into slavery by His brothers; allowed him to be accused by his master’s wife, allowed him to be imprisoned for years, transferred from one prison site to another for a crime he never committed, yet God did not change His mind or plans concerning his future and did not change the terms of the revelation He gave him in his two dreams.

No matter the convincing reasoning of human understanding and knowledge, the feelings in your heart, and the thoughts of others; no matter the known, the expected, and the predicted results in the case before you; no matter the words and voices of men opposing and attacking you because of their understanding, no, God does not change, God has not changed, His word has not in any way changed, His plans will not change and His work in you will definitely be manifested. God is always unchanging and completely unchangeable. He is also all-wise do He cannot change His mind or change His word or change His plans in the sense of realizing a mistake in His word or in His plans; He never backtracks, or try something from the playbook of the enemies.

God knew and saw Satan’s plans against Job. He knew what Satan can do and also knew Satan can never go beyond the limit given to him, and God also knew irrespective of what Satan will do to Job or against Job, He will definitely restored and blessed Job, because His words say; “The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand. Once I was young, and now I am old. Yet I have never seen the godly abandoned or their children begging for bread.” Psalm 37:23-25. There will be a reward for the righteous, God has not changed His mind or changed His words. Though God allowed Satan to destroy everything Job had worked for in life; killed all his children; destroy his family relationship, made his friends to turn against him, and destroy all of his businesses; afflict his health adversely; rendered him homeless and lonely, made those he had help become his strong enemies, yet God did not change His mind concerning Job, He did not change His plans to restore him and did not change His word concerning his future. Job was restored with everything far beyond what he was before. Don’t be afraid of what you are now before your eyes and before men; don’t be afraid of where you are now or of what is going on around or against you now, God orders the steps of His children, your future is in His hands for your good and He will bring them forth for His name's sake, and His promised glory in your life. Jesus prayed; “Now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.” John 17:5. For prayers, Click here
