WHAT DO YOU SEE?

“The word of the Lord came to me; what do you see, Jeremiah? The word of the Lord came to me again: what do you see?” Jeremiah 1:11; 13. What do you see? That is the best question to ask a person after giving that person some time to look back and to look within. That was God did with Jeremiah after speaking to open his senses to look within himself, after putting His words in his lips and his heart, and touching his mouth with His hands. Remember God did not touch his eyes but his mouth. Those actions changed what Jeremiah thought of himself, his strength and ability; it changed his negative view of himself completely. Let me declare that the Lord is taking through such experience right now. Despite your pains and the oppositions of great and small men, your own mouth will speak of what the Lord has done in you, what He had said to you, and not what men had said and done in your circumstances, taking undue advantage of you in your time of weakness, ignorance, pains, frustrations and loneliness.

When you look within, what do you truly see of yourself physically and spiritually? Do you see growing annoyance or diminishing pride? When you listen to what people say of you, do your hear more curses or more blessings? When you take you rest in a night sleep, what dreams do you have? Are they dreams of fear or victory? When you look within your strength, do you see courage or discouragement? Do you see peace or trouble? Do you see continue hope or despair? Do you see progression or retrogression? Do you see determination to move forward or do you see self-pity? Do you see success or failure? Do you see your beauty or your ugliness? Do you see weakness or your strength?

What are your feelings when you look within yourself? But despite what you see, feel and think when you look within yourself, as a believer in the atoning blood of Jesus Christ, God is doing something inside of you that the eyes of men are yet to see, things that only God Himself can begin and perfectly accomplish in your life, things that your knowledge, wisdom, wealth and best efforts will never be able to do irrespective of the assistance you will receive from outside.

God had given you eyes to see good things beginning from yourself and it is paramount that you first see Christ Jesus inside of you changing things in your life, removing that which is old and troubling and replacing them with that which is good, truthful, acceptable and is in accordance to God’s will, purpose and plans for your life. Completely recreating, rebuilding, remolding and transforming your broken life, and restoring you to His glory.

Looking within helps you know yourself and discover your mission. It exposes yourself to you in many ways. Here you see your weakness and strength; you see where you went astray and what you need to do to recover yourself. Here you see that without God you will never get to the next level of your dreams, visions and desires. You see how small you are and how great your God is. You see how strong the devil is against you and how Christ stood up for you, fighting your battle and defeating the devil for you, giving you the victory over all the plans of the devil and over all his agents.

When you look within yourself, you will see weakness, pains, and sorrows, but despite what you will see within, the strength of the Lord is with you for good and that is what you will have to rely on to over your weaknesses and pains. “Glory in His Holy Name, let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. Look to the Lord, and His strength, seek His face always. Remember the wonders He has done, His miracles, and the judgments He pronounced, O descendants of Israel His servant, O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones. He is the Lord our God, His judgment are in all the earth.”1 Chronicles 16:10-14. For prayers, Click here For 2015 Praise and worship Click Here
